    He is survived by his wife, three daughters and two sons: Mrs. Clinton Koppenhaver, Mrs. William Klinger, and Lee Schwalm, all of Spring Glen; Nathan Schwalm and Mrs. William Mausser at home. Other survivors are a sister, Mrs. Victor Blyler, Hamburg; two brothers, Nathan Schwalm. Williamstown, Monroe Schwalm, Valley, View and nine grandchildren.

    Surviving are two sons, James E. Miller of Valley View, and Curtin R. Miller of Joliett; two daughters,Mrs. Dewey Artz and Mrs. Beulah Dunleavy of Hamburg; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
    Her funeral was held in the Fearnot Evangelical United Brethren Church on Sunday, the Rev. H. M. Mentzer officiating. Interment was made in the adjoining cemetery.

    Mrs. A. Wolfgang
    Mrs. Agatha Wolfgang, 78, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. C.M. Underkoffler, Valley View, Sunday morning, following an illness of several weeks. She was a faithful member of the United Brethren church and until recent years an active worker. She is survived by the following daughters: Mrs. Clara Underkoffler, Mrs. Bella Troutman, Mrs. Amelia Romberger, Valley View, and Mrs. Mary Rickert of Allentown.
    Funeral services were held from the home of her daughter, Mrs. Underkoffler on Thursday morning at 10 o'clock, with services at the house and burial in the United Brethren cemetery. Services were conducted by Rev. A. M. Rhine of Valley View and Rev. Arndt of Annville.

  • In 1900, Frank and Catherine were living in Valley View, Hegins Township, Schuylkill County, in the following household: Frank H. Schwalm, 45; Catharine. 44; Samuel E., 18; Florance W., 15; Mary A., 8; Lillie B. [sic], 5; and John J., [?].7
  • In 1910, Frank and Catherine, who had been married 31 years, were living in Hegins Township, Schuylkill County, where Frank was listed as a farmer. Catherine had given birth to 8 children, 7 of whom were then living.8
