He also attended Harrisburg Area Community College, where at the age of 16, became an EMT, and then went on to complete his Paramedic I and II certifications.
Roger's life revolved around the protection and wellbeing of others, as public and family safety were hallmarks throughout his entire life. He enjoyed country music, cooking in his instant pot, firearms, model trains, the Florida Keys, and educating others on preparing for emergencies. He was a proud supporter of President Trump, the NRA, and along with his wife, animal rescue and feline fostering, which was a big part of his life.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an aunt, Jean Malnick, mother- and father-in-law, Carol and Earl Miller.
