    Mrs. Elizabeth Hadesty, 65, of T 116 N. Balliet street, Frackville, collapsed and died of a heart attack while she was scrubbing the front porch of her home Friday morning.
    Neighbors found her a short time later and summoned a doctor but she had died instantly. Mrs. Hadesty had been in impaired health but was able to be about daily.
    She is survived by a son, Clarence at home, a daughter, Mrs. Alpho Schriber, and a step-daughter, Mrs. Howard Shirey of Ohio.
    Funeral arrangements will be completed upon the arrival of her daughters.

    William Hadesty, aged 63, died at his late residence on North Balliet St., Frackville, early Sunday morning.
    He was born in Ashland, but for the past 31 years resided in Frackville. For the past ten years he has lived retired, and prior to his retirement was engaged in the timbering contract business, cutting and hauling timber to the mines.
    He was a member of the Junior Order of United American Mechanics of Frackville.
    Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth, and the following children, Clarence, of town, Mrs. Howard Shirey and Mrs. Howard Shriber, of Akron, O., four grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Frank Mervine, of Gordon.
    The funeral will be held on Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock from his late residence and interment will be made in the Citizens' Cemetery between Gordon and Ashland.
    Kull, of Ahland, will be the undertaker in charge of the arrangements.

    Funeral services will be held Sunday in Frackville for Curtis I. Mervine, who died Wednesday in Pottstown Hospital. He resided in that community with a granddaughter and her husband, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hartz.
    Born in Barry Township 83 years ago, he was a retired miner, a son of the late Alfred and Amelia (Shartel) Mervine. His wife, the former Nellie O'Connor, preceded him in death.
    Surviving are two daughters: Mrs. Veronica Short, Pottstown; and Mrs. Alice Stonelake, Milford; a brother, William A. Mervine Sr., Frackville; a sister, Mrs. Edith Ochs, Tremont; two grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren.
    Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday from the Hoppes Funeral Home, Frackville, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Kenneth M. Trexler of Zion Lutheran Church, Frackville.
