    He had been a co-owner of the former Wiest Brothers Meat Market. He was a graduate of th e former Pillow High School and attended Susquehanna University; and a member of Zion Lutheran Church, the Pillow Fire Company, and F&AM Lodge 570, Lykens.
    He was the widower of Edna M. (Whistler) Wiest. Surviving are a daughter, Dawn E. Keough of Waterford, Mich; a son, Milton M. Jr, of Lady Lake, Florida; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
    Services will be hald at 11 a.m., Saturday, in the Salem United Church of Christ. Burial will be in the Pillow Grandview Cemetery.Viewing will be from 9 to 11 a.m., Saturday in the church, where Masonic rites will begin at 9 a.m. Reed Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.1

LEITZEL, the fourth child of BENJAMIN B. and EVE (TOBIAS)LEITZEL, was born Septembe r 15, 1871, at Klingerstown, where he wasreared and educated, and where he worked for his fat her until he reachedthe age of sixteen. Then, for six years, he was employed in thelumberin g districts of the State of Washington.. In 1896, he returned toPennsylvania, settling at Kl ingerstown where he was engaged in horsedealing and the wholesale whiskey business, selling w hiskey for Detweiler& Co., of Lebanon, PA.. He remained at Klingerstown for a number ofyears , before relocating to Mandata, where he became the proprietor ofthe "Franklin House." He al so had a farm of 100 acres in Jackson Twp.which he farms with the aid of hired help.

    Mr. Leitzel and his family were members of the Lutheran congregation ofSt. Michael's Church , Klingerstown, PA. Mr. Leitzel was also a member ofthe Klingerstown Lodge of the Odd Fellow s. -- Source: Floyd-920.

Interment will be at the Rose City Cemetery. Mr. Wiest who retired in 1941, died at a local hospital Sunday. His home was at 14229 S.E. Ellis Street. Born in Klingerstown, Pa., March 5, 1879, he had lived in Portland 47 years.
    Survivors include his widow, Leona, and a daughter, Evelyn M. Callahan, both of Portland; two sons, Clarence of Portland and Almon of San Francisco.
