Samuel Peter Schwalm was baptized on 13 February 1859, St. Paul's (Artz's) Lutheran and Reformed Church, Sacramento, Schuylkill County, PA.¹
He married Agnes Minerva Bensinger, daughter of George B. Bensinger and Louisa Klinger, circa 1878.^4,3
In 1900, Samuel and Agnes were living with their son Fremont in Hubley Township, Schuylkill County, where Samuel was a farmer. Samuel and Agnes had been married 21 years and Agnes had given birth to 3 children, only 1 of which was then living.³
By the time of the 1910 Census, Samuel and Agnes's household included Fremont's wife Jennie (Klinger) and their grandson Samuel K. Schwalm.⁵
Samuel Peter Schwalm died in 1927.²
He was buried at St. Andrew's Church Cemetery, Valley View, Schuylkill County, PA.²

By the time of the 1910 Census, Elizabeth and Alfred had been married 23 years, and Elizabeth had given birth to 7 children, 4 of whom were then living.⁴
Mary Elizabeth Schwalm died on 23 March 1939, at age 73.²

At the time of the 1910 Census, Alice and her husband William Gessner were living in Jordan Township, Northumberland County, where he was a merchant in a general store, in the following household: William H. Gessner, head, 48, married 13 years; Alice, wife, 39, married 13 years, mother of 3 children, all living; Iva M., daughter, 13; George S., son, 11; and Grace A., daughter, 3.⁵
The 1920 Census indicates that Alice and her husband William Gessner were living in Washington Township, Snyder County, where William was working as a cement finisher. Their daughter "Ivy" was working as a "twister" in a silk mill.⁶

Samuel Klinger was born on 22 August 1824, Philip Klinger Homestead, Lykens Township, Dauphin County, PA.¹
He was the son of Alexander Klinger and Elizabeth Schwalm.
Samuel Klinger was baptized on 19 September 1824, Zion (Klinger's) Chiurch, Erdman, Dauphin County, PA.^2,3
Some sources record that Samuel Klinger was born in 1827.⁴
He married Balinda Savidge, daughter of Valentine Savidge and Mary Reed, in 1848.⁵
In the 1850 US Census for Lykens Township, Dauphin County, Samuel and "Balinda" are listed with two children, "Addaline" (age 1) and "'Olaver" (age 6 months.)⁶
Samuel Klinger married Catharine Kissinger, daughter of John Kissinger and Elizabeth Hawk, in 1857.^7,8
At the time of the 1860 Census, Samuel and Catharine were living in Wiconisco Township, Dauphin County. Their household included 4 children: Adeline, Frank, Jefferson, and Emma.⁹
Samuel served as a private with Co. K, 173rd Pennsylvania Infantry during the Civil War, from November, 1862, until August 18, 1863.⁵
Samuel was appprently unmarried at the time of the 1870 Census. His household in Wiconisco Township, where he worked in a mine, included 3 son, Jefferson, Alexander, and Alfred.¹⁰
Samuel Klinger married Rebecca Cooper, daughter of Adam Cooper and Elizabeth Lebo, after 1870.^11,10
In 1880, Samuel was a coal miner in Wiconisco, Dauphin County. He and Rebecca were living with 3 children: Alfred, Thomas, and Carrie.¹²
Samuel Klinger died on 14 April 1891, at age 66.¹
He was buried at Calvary United Methodist Cemetery, Wiconisco, Dauphin County, PA.⁵
In 1900, Samuel's widow Rebecca was living in Wiconisco with 2 of her children, Clinton and Carrie.¹³
