  • Marietta Maude Schwalm was born in 1887.1
  • She was the daughter of Samuel Emanuel Schwalm and Sarah Elizabeth Straub.1
  • Marietta Maude Schwalm died on 10 September 1906.1,2
  • She was buried at Friedens Union Cemetery, Hegins, Schuylkill County, PA.1
  • It is not clear whether Marietta is a daughter of Samuel or not. She is buried alongside two of Samuel's children, James and Eda, but she is not listed in the 1900 Census as living in Samuel and Ellen's household. Nor does she appear to be listed anywhere else in the 1900 Census in Schulkill County. There does not appear to be any death certificate for her in Pennsylvania, at least among the online lists at ancestry.com.
There is, however, a listing in Samuel's household for a "Maud Millholand" born September, 1887, identified as a "servant." Curiously, there is a "Roswell Millholand" born Dec. 1891 who is shown as a "Son" of Ellen Schwalm.1,3
