    Harvey was born in Valley View, on Sept. 2, 1942, the son of Harvey C. Lubold Sr. and Hilda Moyer Lubold.
    He was a graduate of Tri-Valley High School Class of 1960 in Hegins, and later graduated from Penn State University, where he received his degree in mechanical engineering.
    On June 30, 1962, he married the former Faye Schreffler in Valley View.
    Harvey was employed by GTE Sylvania in Towanda for 35 years, retiring as manager of the CAD-CAM Division in Engineering in 1998. During his years with Sylvania, Harvey designed many furnaces and secured several patents.
    He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Towanda and the Bradford County Airport Authority and was a member and past secretary of the Towanda Lions Club.
    He is survived by: his wife of 46 years, Faye Lubold, at home; his daughters, Vicki Schm-idt of Towanda and Stephanie Boyle of Sayre; his grandsons, Devon, Matthew and Joseph; his granddaughters, Julia and Elizabeth; his parents, Harvey C. Lubold Sr. and Hilda Lubold of Valley View; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Linda and James Sapiano of Mechanicsburg, and Audrey and Dale Gongloff of Annville; a special sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Nancy and James Smeltz of Denver; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
    A memorial service was held Saturday, March 14, at the First United Methodist Church, 105 Main St. Towanda, with the Rev. Richard Barner, pastor, officiating. Interment was private.
    The family suggests that memorial contributions may be directed to the First United Methodist Church, 105 Main St. Towanda, PA 18848, or to the Bradford County Humane Society, PO Box 179, Ulster, Pa. 18850, in Harvey C. Lubold Jr.'s memory.2

    Marlin W. Schreffler, 90, of Pitman, passed away Thursday at Friendly Nursing Home, Pitman.
    Born in Pitman, Aug. 7, 1922, he was a son of the late William F. and Jennie Houck Schreffler.
    He graduated from Hegins Township High School and established the family business, Schreffler Equipment Inc., Pitman.
    He was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, Pitman, F&AM Valley Lodge No. 797, Valley View, Harris-burg Consistory AASR, and the Woodmen of the World Lodge, Pitman.
    Marlin was also a member of Mahantongo Fire Company and was instrumental in establishing both the fire company and the Mahantongo Valley Ambulance Association.
    He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty J. Morgan, Schreffler, on May 11, 2008; and a sister, Anna Schreffler.
    Surviving are three children, Faye R. Lubold, Towanda, Nancy L. Smeltz and her husband, James, Denver, and Randy L. Schreffler and his wife, Patricia, Pitman; five grandchildren, Vicki Schmidt, Staphanie Boyle, Michelle Neuman, Andrew Schreffler and Eric Schreffler; seven great-grandchildren, Devon Turner, Matthew Schmidt, Joseph Schmidt, Julia Boyle, Elizabeth Boyle, Katherine Galizia and Lyla Schreffler; a step-great-grandchild, Cole Focht; a brother, Russell Schreffler, Harrisburg; a sister, Ruby Hepler; nieces and nephews.
    The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. James Lutheran Church, Main Road, Pitman, where a memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Warren Egebo officiating. Interment will be in Jacob's Cemetery, Pitman. The Valley Lodge will conduct a Masonic service at 10:45 a.m. at the church.     She was born July 26, 1923, in Locustdale, a daughter of the late Samuel and Iva (Zimmerman) Morgan. She was married on Nov. 28, 1942, having celebrated 65 years of marriage with her husband, Marlin Schreffler, who survives.
    Betty was educated in the Hegins Township High School.
    She was a homemaker and was affiliated with the family business, Marlin W. Schreffler, currently known as Schreffler Equipment Inc., Pitman.
    Betty was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, Pitman. She was an active participant in the organization of the Mahantongo Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary, where she held various offices for many years. Betty received the Outstanding Service Award from the Mahantongo Fire Company. She was also a member of the Mahantongo Valley Senior Citizens and the Woodmen of the World Lodge, Camp 433, both of Pitman.
    She enjoyed crossword and jigsaw puzzles, reading, and family history.
    In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Faye and Harvey Lubold of Towanda, and Nancy and James Smeltz of Denver; one son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Patricia Schreffler of Pitman; five grandchildren, Vicki Schmidt, Stephanie Boyle, Michelle Neuman, and Andrew and Eric Schreffler; five great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; one sister, Jean Wehry of Klingerstown; and nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Morgan, on Sept. 22, 1993.
    There will be a visitation from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Thursday, at St. James Lutheran Church, Pitman, followed by a funeral service at 11, with the Rev. Warren Egebo officiating.
    Burial in Jacob's Cemetery, Pitman.

    THEODORE E. RABUCK
    Theodore E. Rabuck, well known carpenter, died suddenly at his home on Colliery avenue from a heart attack on Saturday, December 23. He had been stricken with a similar attack about seven weeks before, and had been bedfast since that time.
    Mr. Rabuck was a son of Emanuel and Julia Rabuck, and was born on the 22nd day of July, 1874, in Mahantonga township. He was married to Kate Klinger, who survives, together with ten children, as follows: Walter, Gurney, Arthur, Annie, Allen, Theodore, Jr., Ernest, Charles, Mark and Erma. There are twenty grandchildren, one brother, Anson Rabuck, of Sacramento, and three sisters, Mrs. Charles Heckler, of Tower City; Mrs. James Schreffler, of Dornsife, and Mrs. Gurney Klinger, of Gratz.
    The funeral was held on Wednesday, December 27, from the Dreisigacker funeral parlor. Services were conducted by Rev. Ira Frankenfield, pastor of St Paul's Lutheran Church, and interment was made in the Klingers' Church cemetery near Sacramento.

    He was born in Fearnot, a son of the late Theodore and Kathryn Klinger Rabuck.
    He was a retired heavy-equipment operator.
    Mr. Rabuck was a member of Foursquare Gospel Church, Muir.
    Surviving are his wife, Beatrice; four daughters, Bertha Weaver, Muir, Edith Rabuck, Tower City, Doris Wetzel, Ashland, and Joyce Schaeffer, Nottingham; five sons, Lloyd, Tower City, William and Donald, both of Clark's Valley, James, Reinerton, and Gurney Jr., Williamstown; two brothers, Charles, Clark's Valley, and Theodore, Galeton; a sister, Erma Shuttlesworth, Williamstown; 29 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren.
    Services will be held at 11. a.m. Tuesday at Foursquare Gospel Church. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Muir. Corl Funeral Homes Inc., Tower City, is in charge of arrangements.
