    Mr. Rothermel was a son of Abraham and Ellen (Hoffman) He was a member of Klinger's Reformed Church, Erdman, and the Odd Fellows lodge of Gratz.
    Survivors are his parents, one son, Clifford Rothermel, of Gratz, one daughter, Mrs. James Deibert of Sacramento; one sister, Mrs. Alvin Klouser of Lykens Township, and four grandchildren.
    Services will be held from the Hoover Funeral Home, Berrysburg, at 10 o'clock this Thursday morning. Rev. Dr. D. I. Sultzbach, pastor of the Valley View Lutheran Parish, and Rev. R. J. Harrity, pastor of the Lykens Reformed Charge will officiate. Interment will be in Klinger's Church Cemetery.

  • At the time of the 1910 Census, Milton was living in Cass Township, Schuylkill County.3
  • The 1930 Census for Minersville, Schuylkill County, lists the following household: Milton Rothermel, head, 56, coal miner; Edith C. Rothermel, wife, 54; Dorthea P. Rothermel, daughter, 17; Herbert M. Rothermel, son, 14; and Russell H. Rothermel, son, 10.4

    Milton Rothermel
    Milton Rothermel, 10 Carbon St, Minersville, died Friday morning at the home of his son, Herbert; with whom he made his home.
    A native of Klingerstown, he was a son of the late Amos and Elizabeth Klinger Rothermel. He resided in Minersvllle the greater part of his life. He was employed as a timber contractor by M. and S. Colliery until his retirement 10 years ago. His wife, the former Edith Cardella Bueck, died seven months ago. Mr. Rothermel was member of English Lutheran Cnurch, Minersville.
    Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. John H. Davis, Philadelphia; two sons: Herbert and Russell, both of Minersville: one brother Claude. F. Rothermel, Minersville; nine gandchlldren and two great-grandchildren.
    Funeral Monday afternoon from Ritzel Funeral Home, Minersville. Rev. Ralph H. Casner, pastor of English Lutheran Church, will officiate. Interment will be in Mount Peace Cemetery, Minersville.
