    Albert Freamond Klouser, 50, of Valley View, died in Good Samaritan Hospital on Friday evening, He was admitted on April 23rd as a surgical patient.
    Bom in Valley View on February 9, 1906, he was a member of the U.M.W.A. and the Valley View Fire Co., and was a miner.
    Surviving are his wife, Catherine Scheib, and these children: Mrs. George Lohr, Elwood and Mrs. Daniel Dietrich, all of : Hegins R. D. 1; Janet, at home; five grandchildren.
    These sisters and brothers also survive: Mrs. Estelle Nicholas, Allentown; Alvin, Joliett; Mrs. Ralph Bixler, Reading; Mrs.: Albert Kehler, Hegins R. D. 1; Mrs. Clyde Grimm, Tower City and Harold, in the U. S. Army.

    Edna P. Reed, age 91, of New Holland, formerly of Valley View, passed away Monday, June 28, 2021 at Hospice and Community Care, Mount Joy.
    She was born on Friday, December 6, 1929, in Hubley Twp, a daughter of the late Ammon E Scheib and the late Mae S (Mattern) Scheib.
    She was a 1947 graduate of the former Hubley Twp. High School.
    Edna was a seamstress in area garment factories, prior to her retirement.
    She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Sacramento.
    Edna enjoyed crocheting, crafts, and spending time with her family.
    Her husband Allen D Reed passed away in 1978. She was also preceded in death by her parents; by a son, Dennis D Reed; a brother Mark R Scheib; and by three sisters, Mabel Kantz, Elva A Smeltz, and Hilda M Deitrich.
    She is survived by a son, Bruce A Reed and his wife Faye of Muir; two daughters, Tina E Reed of New Holland and Rose A Steich and her husband Kenny of Pitman; four grandchildren; six great grandchildren; two sisters, Mary E Shomper and Verna M Harner both of Palmyra; and several nieces and nephews.
    Funeral services will be held at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Sacramento, on Friday, July 2, 2021, at 11:00 am, with Rev. Raymond Holland officiating.
    A viewing will be held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Friday at the church.
    Burial will be made in St. Paul's Cemetery, Sacramento.
    Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice and Community Care, 4075 Old Harrisburg Pike, Mount Joy PA 17552.

    Luke A. Scheib, 90, a life long resident of Berrysburg, passed away on June 19, 2021, at the Colonial Care Center, Harrisburg. He was born in Berrysburg on November 4, 1930, a son of the late Anna and Irvin Scheib. Luke was employed at Muskin Shoe and Brubaker Tool. He served in the Army during the Korean War. Luke is survived by his two nieces, Cristal Scheib of Berrysburg, Angel Scheib and husband Arnold Clark of Chincoteague, VA; sister-in-law, Ruby Scheib. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Scheib in 2014 and a brother, Dean Scheib. Graveside Service will be held on Friday, June 25, 2021, at 2:30 pm at the Rolling Green Cemetery, Camp Hill.     He served in the US Army in Normandy during World War II.
    He was a self employed carpenter and farmer.
    He was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Sacramento; where he was a member of the choir, consistory, and a former Sunday School Teacher.
    He was also a member of VFW Post 612, of St. Thomas, Pa.
    Dan enjoyed horses, reading, and agriculture.
    He was preceded in death by three brothers George Dietrich, William Dietrich, and Russell Dietrich; by six sisters, Mae Dietrich, Sarah Morgan, Maude Ebert, Hannah Maurer, Vera Miller, and Mary Dietrich.
    He is survived by his wife Ferne E. (Klouser) Dietrich, to whom he was married for 60 years.
    He is also survived by five sons Lynn A. Dietrich and his wife Joyce of Chambersburg, Forrest L. Dietrich and his wife Kathy of Magnolia, TX, Daniel W. Dietrich, Jr. and his wife Rebecca of Pitman, Edwin J. Dietrich and his wife Linda of Pine Grove, and Mark B. Dietrich and his wife Diane of Hegins; a daughter Amy M. Ney and her husband Russ of Hegins; thirteen grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; a brother Ray Dietrich of York; and several nieces and nephews.
    Funeral services will be held at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Sacramento, on Thursday, March 17, at 11 a.m., with Rev. Raymond Holland officiating. A viewing will be held from 9:30 to 11 a.m. on Thursday at the church. Burial will be made in St. Paul's Cemetery, Sacramento.
    Memorial contributions can be made to St. Paul's United Church of Christ, 2300 Main Street, Sacramento, PA 17968.
