    Mrs. Ruth R. Huntzinger, 76, wife of Ernest Huntzinger Sr., 201 Biddle St., Gordon, died Wednesday morning at Ashland Hospital where she was admitted Nov. 8.
    Mrs. Huntzinger, a retired teacher, was bcrn Aug. 8, 1896 at RD Ashland, daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Bolich Rhodes. She attended the Butler Township schools and graduated in 1928 from Bloomsburg State Teachers College. She also attended the University of Pennsylvania and The Pennsylvania State College. She taught in the Butler Township and Lower Bucks Township schools.
    Mrs. Huntzinger was a member of Christ Congregational United Church of Christ, Fountain Springs, where she taught Sunday School for 40 years. She was a member of the Dorcas Society and Ladies Bible Class of the church; the Dorcas Society of Simpson Methodist Church, Gordon; Ashland Chapter 154, Order of Eastern Star; Republican Club of Gordon; Ladies Auxiliary of Gordon Fire Company No. 1; Bloomsburg College Alumni Association; Gordon Parent-Teachers Association, Retired Teachers Association of Bensalem Township, Lower Bucks County, and a charter member of Gordon Senior Citizens.
    Surviving, in addition to her husband, are six children, Margaret, wife of Delmer Trefsger, RD Ashland; Bette, wife of Silvio Nunziata, Gordon; Ann, widow of James Huntzinger, Virginia Beach, Va; the Rev. Ernest Huntzinger Jr., Elmhurst, Ill; Sallee, wife of Paul Umlauf, Santa Rosa, Calif; Linda, wife of J. Martin Taylor, Brentwood, Long Island, N.Y; 16 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three brothers and two sisters, Roy Phillips, Allentown; Mrs. Pearl Slanker, Wyomissing; Grace, wife; of Ralph Rhodes, Watsontown; Emerson and John Rhodes, Frackville.
    Funeral services will be Saturday morning from Christ Congregational UCC Church, Fountain Springs, with burial in Christ Church Cemetery, Fountain Springs. The Rev.
