    David D. Deitrich, 56, Idlywood Drive, Winchester, Va., died Thursday at University Hospital, San Antonio, Texas.
    Born in Ashland, June 5, 1941, he was a son of the late Harry and Laura Troutman Deitrich.
    He was employed as a truck driver for Covenant Transport Inc.
    Surviving are his wife, the former Hilda Scheib, to whom he was married 35 years; a son, Donald D. Deitrich, EUicott City, Md; three daughters, Holly Newman, Winchester, Kelly Deitrich, Stephens City, Va. and Traci Bremer, Winchester; a sister, Lorraine G. Oldham, Valley View; two grandchildren.
    A memorial service will be held at noon Tuesday from Winchester Church of God. The Rev. Carl Moore will offciate. Interment will be private. Jones Funeral Home Inc., Winchester, is in charge of arrangements.

    Harry F. Deitrich, 74, of RDI Hegins, died Thursday en route to Good Samaritan Hospital. He had been a farmer.
    Mr. Deitrich was born Feb. 6, 1904, at Lykens, a son of the late Edward and Jennie Keiper Deitrich. He was a member of St . Andrew's United Methodist Church, Valley View, the Men's Bible Class, Tri-Valley Senior Citizens, National Rifle Association.
    Surviving are his widow, the former Laura Troutman, a retired Tri-Valley School District elementary teacher; a son David of Winchester, Va; a daughter, Lorraine, of Ashland; three grandchildren; two sisters, Laura Deitrich, Gratz; Mrs. Susan Schoffstall, Gratz; three, brothers. Earl, Portsmouth, Va; Marlin, Millersburg, Lauren, Baltimore, Md.
    Services will be held Monday morning from St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, Valley View with the Rev. Leland Keemer officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The Robert Miller Funeral Home, Valley View, is in charge of ' arrangements.
