    SUNBURY -- Martin L. Sarfine, 60, of 222 Lenker Ave. died at Sunbury Community Hospital Sunday, July 23, 1989, where he was admitted Friday.
    Born in Shamokin, Sept. 9, 1928, he was a son of the late Louis and Agnes (Kotkoskie) Sarfine.
    Mr. Sarfine attended the Shamokin schools. He served in the Navy for 16 years during the Korean War.
    He was a retired employee of Conrail, retiring in 1984. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Sunbury; Shamokin Dam Fire Company; and Sunbury Moose Lodge 181.
    His former wife, the former Donna Stiely, died in 1980.
    Mr. Sarfine is survived by his wife, the former June L. Herman, to whom he was married for 17 years; the following children, Martin L. Jr. and Chris R., both of Shamokin, and David A., Nancy L. Auman and Roxanne, all of Sunbury; two stepchildren, Kathy Goundie of Selinsgrove and Steven Kerstetter of Sunbury; nine grandchildren; and the following brothers and sisters, Floriean "Rex" of Scran-ton, Daniel of Shamokin, Louis of Middleburg, Theresa Dobra and Marie Robenolt, both of Turbotville, Margaret Koons of Milton, Louise Baron of Linden, N.J., and Bernice Yocum of Phoenixville.
    One brother preceded him in death.
    The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Zweier Funeral Home, Sunbury, by the Rev. Ronald Shupe. Burial will be in Pomfret Manor Cemetery, Sunbury.
    Visitors may call in the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.

    Harold I. Jones, 87, of Hegins, passed away Saturday, August 20, 2016 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
    Harold was born in Pitman, on June 9, 1929, a son of the late Viola (Kline) and John Jones.
    He is survived by his wife of 67 years Esther (Stiely) Jones; they were married January 1, 1949.
    Harold Graduated from the former Pine Park High [School] in 1947. He was employed as a truck driver for over 50 years, first at Masser's Produce, then Kocher Coal Company and last drove for Central Storage and Transfer. He also had worked at Hegins Mining Company for something to do.
    He was an active member member of Friedens UCC, Hegins, PA .
    He was a member of the Harrisburg Teamster Union and was instrumental in starting the Jones Family Racing Team.
    Harold is also survived by a son,Robert, husband of Vicki Jones, of Gratz, PA; two grandchildren; Spencer Jones and Whitney Jones; two sisters, Arlene Clark and Joyce Kahler; two brothers, Ronald Jones and Mark Jones.
    He was preceded in death by two sisters, Marie Snyder and Velma Zartman.
    Visitation will be held on, Saturday, August 27, 2016 from 9-11 AM at Friedens United Church of Christ where the memorial service will follow at 11:00 AM with Rev. Michael Klahr and Rev. Claude Schach officiating.
    In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Friedens UCC, PO Box 57, Hegins, PA 17938.

    She graduated from Elizabethville High School in 1952.
    She was a retired employee for the Mechanicsburg Naval Depot.
    She loved collecting rocks and gardening.
    Surviving is her husband of 54 years, Roy E. Klinger; her son, Daniel Klinger, his wife, Trish, and her grandsons, Andrew and Joseph Klinger all of Camp Hill; and many loving nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
    A visitation will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, May 2, 2012 followed by the Memorial Service at 11:00 AM in the Neill Funeral Home, 3401 Market St., Camp Hill. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
