    Katie I. Klinger, 92, formerly of Klingerstown, died Tuesday at Susquehanna Lutheran Village, Millersburg, where she lived since June 1997.
    Born in Klingerstown, July 18, 1907, she was a daughter of the late Daniel E. and Mary Snyder Ramberger. She was educated in Upper Mahantongo Township schools.
    She was a member of St. Michael's Lutheran Church, Klingerstown.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley R., in 1995; two sons, Randall, in 1961, and Glenn, in 1991; a grandson, Stephen Klinger, in 1986; three sisters, Masie Harner, Annie Shade and Jennie Ramberger; two brothers, William and Howard Ramberger.
    Surviving are three daughters, Marian Schreffler, Elizabethville, Ruth Ann Sims, Lykens, and Carol J. Troutman, Klingerstown; seven sons, Stanley H., Lykens, Roy E., Camp Hill, William E. and Donald A., both of Klingerstown, Dean E., Marbury, Md., Dennis E., Herndon, and Ronald L., Palmyra; two sisters, Laura Klinger, Rebuck, and Dorothy Morgan, Klingerstown; 23 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren.
    Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Michael's Lutheran Church, Klingerstown. Rev. Joel Petruschke will officiate. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Stephen R. Rothermel Funeral Home, RR1 Klingerstown, is in charge of arrangements.2

    HARRISBURG -- Stanley R. Klinger, 86, died Wednesday afternoon, Aug. 9, 1995, at the Polyclinic Medical Center, Harrisburg, where he had been a patient for two days. Prior to entering, the hospital, he, was a patient at the Susquehanna Lutheran Village Nursing Home, Millersburg, where he had lived since March 1989.
    He was, born Sept, 29, 1908, in Erdman, the son of the late Elmer and Catherine (Engle) Klinger. He was married to the former Katie I. Ramberger on May 12, 1928, in Hegins.
    He was educated in the Erdman schools.
    Mr. Klinger retired from the former Markson Coal Company, Bear Valley, where he was a coal miner. He was last employed as a truck driver and equipment operator for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, retiring in 1971.
    He was a member of St. Michael's Lutheran Church, Klingerstown. He was a former member of the Klingerstown Fire Company and served as a former committee man of Upper Mahantongo Township, Klingerstown District.
    In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Marian Schreffler of Elizabethville, Ruth Ann Sims of Lykens RD1 and Carol Troutman of Klingerstown; seven sons, Stanley H. of Lykens RD1, Roy of Camp Hill, William of Klingerstown, Dean of Marbury, Md., Don of Klingerstown RD1, Dennis of Herndon RD1, and Ronald of Palmyra RD1; 23 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; two great-great-granddaughters; and several nieces and nephews.
    He was preceded in death by two sons, Randall, who died in 1961, and Glenn, who died in 1991; one grandson, Steven Klinger, who died in 1986; three brothers, Luther, Charles and Roy; and two sisters, Verna Klinger and Jennie Deibert.
    The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Michael's Lutheran Church, Klingerstown by the Rev. Peter E. Nordby.
    Burial will be in the church cemetery.
    Visitors may call from 10 a.m. Saturday until the time of the service at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Michael's Lutheran Church, Klingerstown, Pa. 17941.

    She was born July 1, 1912, in i- RR1 Klingerstown, a daughter of the late Francis O. and Katie (Hauck) Schadel and stepdaughter of the late Mary M. (Starr) Schadel. She was married to Calvin 7 A. Clark, who preceded her in death on Sept. 9, 1960.
    Mrs. Clark was educated in Upper Mahantongo Township schools.
    She retired from the Muskin Shoe Factory, Millersburg, in 1974.
    Mrs. Clark was a member of Salem United Church of Christ, RR1 Klingerstown, where she was a member of the Sunday school and ladies guild.
    She was a member of the Daughters of America, RR1 Klingerstown, and a former member of the Mahantongo Valley Senior Citizens of Pitman.
    Mrs. Clark enjoyed knitting, crocheting, embroidering, traveling and raising flowers.
    Surviving are five sons and daughters-in-law, Francis H. and Janet Clark of RR Elizabethville, Willard L. and Marie Clark of Valley View, James W. and Rebecca Clark of RR Elizabethville and Roy L. and Dolores Clark and Dennis C. and Joyce Clark, all of RR1 Klingerstown; three daughters and sons-in-law, Pauline "Polly" and Russell Mace of RR1 Dornsife and Mae and Harvey Neumeister and Joan M. and Ronald Bordner, all of Millersburg; 19 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Bessie Bowman of Millersburg and Lillian Wetzel of Middletown; and nieces and nephews.
    Preceding her in death, in addition to her husband, were a daughter, Violet C. Maurer, on April 13, 1990; a grandson, Scott Clark, in 1988; and three stepbrothers, Lawrence, John and Wayne Stiely.

    Roy L Clark, age 83, of Mill Road, Klingerstown, passed away Saturday, April 8, 2023 at his residence.
    He was born on Saturday, April 29, 1939, in Klingerstown, a son of the late Calvin Clark and the late Mazie (Shadle) Clark.
    He served in the US Army.
    Roy worked at the former Muskin Shoe Factory, Millersburg, and retired as a heavy equipment operator from Pine Creek Coal Company.
    He was a member of Salem Church of Rough and Ready.
    Roy enjoyed hunting, word puzzles, watching western movies, spending time outdoors, and fixing things. He was an excellent handyman.
    His wife Dolores E (Kissinger) Clark passed away in 2018. He was also preceded in death by his parents; by three brothers, Willard Clark, Francis Clark, and Dennis Clark, and two sisters, Violet Maurer and Mae Neumeister.
    He is survived by a daughter, Angela M Neugard and her husband Brady of Klingerstown; a son, Brian C Clark and his wife Ashley of Hegins; a granddaughter, Brittany L Neugard of Klingerstown; a grandson, Brockton P Neugard of Klingerstown; two sisters, Joan Bordner of Millersburg and Pauline Mace of Dornsife; a brother, James Clark of Berrysburg; and several nieces and nephews.
    Funeral services will be held at Salem Church of Rough and Ready, Rough and Ready, on Friday, April 14, 2023, at 11:00 am, with Rev. Mark E Mantz officiating.
    There will be no viewing or visitation prior to the service.

    Dennis Clark, 77, of Rough and Ready, passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at his home.
    Dennis was born in Rough and Ready, on August 28, 1940, a son of the late Mazie (Shadle) and Calvin Clark.
    He was employed as an Entomologist at Fort Indiantown Gap.
    Dennis was an avid deer hunter, he was proficient at skeet shooting, he loved to be outdoors and in the mountains. He was an all around handyman and enjoyed helping friends and neighbors with projects. He enjoyed watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy with his wife. He enjoyed being with his family and grandchildren.
    He was a member of Salem Church of Rough and Ready, the F&AM Valley Lodge #797 of Valley View, was a 32 degree Mason with the Harrisburg Consitory, the Upper Mahantongo Hunting Club. He was a social member of the Klingerstown Fire Company, the VFW in Valley View and Gratz, the Valley View Gun Club and a former member of the Erdman Sportsman Club.
    He is survived by his wife of 47 years Joyce (Knorr) Clark they were married June 6, 1970.
    Dennis is also survived by a daughter, Michelle, wife of William L. Porter II, of Klingerstown; a son, David Clark, of Pottsville; seven grandchildren; Delayna Porter, Dylan Clark, Noah, William "Trey" III, Olivia Grace, Kingston, and Robinson Porter. two brothers James Clark, Roy Clark wife Dolores; three sisters Pauline Mace and husband Russell, Mae Neumeister, and Joan Bordner and her husband Ronald; two sisters in-law Janet and Marie Clark and many nieces and nephews.
    He was preceded in death by two brothers, Francis and Willard Clark, a sister, Violet Maurer; two nephews Scott Clark and Randy Mace, and a niece Lisa Straub.
    Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2018 from 9:30-11 AM at the Salem Church of Rough and Ready. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Salem Church of Rough and Ready, Klingerstown, PA, at 11:00 with Rev. Mark Rothermel officiating. The Masonic Lodge will conduct their service at 11:00 AM.
