    Born in Minersville March 5, 1898, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Morris.
    Mr. Morris was educated in Minersville schools, and was a retired coal miner.
    He was married June 4, 1919, in St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, Mount Carmel, to the former Emily A. Conrad. He was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church, Ashland.
    Survivors include the widow, two daughters, Mrs. Beatrice Clews, Baltimore, Md; Mrs. Betty Noble, Centralia; one son, Louis Jr., Mount Carmel; 15 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

    Private funeral services for Mrs. Hannah J. Miller, 72, Pillow, who was burned to Saturday, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday from Pillow.
    Rev. Arthur Roberts, pastor Salem Reformed Church, Pillow, will officiate. Burial will be in Grand View Cemetery there. There will be no viewing.
    The elderly woman, whose husband died of a heart attack only three weeks ago, met death when her clothing caught fire as she was burning waste paper an old smokehouse near her home.
    Dr. S. E. Herrold, deputy coroner, attributed death to burns of the face, arms, legs and body.
    State Police Cpl. Wayne Myers, who investigated the tragedy, said the victim apparently had run out of the smoke house and rolled in a potato patch in an effort to extinguish the flames.
    Her daughter, Miss Jestina Miller found her there about noon when she returned from a trip to Sunbury.
    In addition to her daughter, Jestina, and her granddaughter Gloria, Mrs. Miller is survived by three other daughters, Mrs. Grant Troutman, Pillow; Miss Mary Miller, at home, and Mrs. Henry Koppenhaver, Gratz; a son, John Miller of Gratz, and four more grandchildren.
