    Anna M. Schreffler, 67, of Leck Kill, died at 8:14 p.m. Friday in Geisinger Medical Center. She was a patient four days.
    Mrs. Schreffler was born at Pitman, June 18, 1915, a daughter of the late William F. and Jennie Houck Schreffler.
    She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Leck Kill.
    Mrs. Schreffler was a 1934 graduate of Pine Park High School, Leck Kill.
    She was married to Darvin P. Schreffler on Nov. 28, 1936, at Leck Kill.

    LECK KILL -- Darvin P. Schreffler, 96, of Leek Kill, passed away Wednesday Oct. 17, 2012, at Geisinger Shamokin Area Community Hospital.
    Born Saturday, Feb. 5, 1916, in Leek Kill, he was a son of the late Daniel E. and Florence Irene (Schreffler) Schreffler. He was preceded in death by his wife Anna (Schreffler) Schreffler who died Dec. 17, 1982.
    Darvin was a retired farmer having done general farming for many years.
    He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, the Mahantongo Fire Company, the Mahantongo Valley Ambulance Association, and a life member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows Mahanoy Lodge 551 of Dornsife.
    Surviving are two daughters, Arlene Brown and her husband Ernest, of Sunbury and Erma Tressler and her husband Dennis, of Maryland; one daughter-in-law, Elina Schreffler, of Leek Kill, wife of the late Paul W. Schreffler; six grandchildren, Troy and Scott Laudenslager, Nick Tressler and Trish Tressler-Flook, Michael and Andrew Schreffler; 10 great-grandchildren Sydney, Rudi, David and Shelby Laudenslager, David, Sophie and Audrey Tressler, Liam, Katelyn and Sofia Schreffler; two brothers, Guy E. Schreffler, of Rebuck and Delbert F. Schreffler, of Dalmatia; as well as nieces and nephews.
    He was preceded in death by his son Paul; one sister, Elva Schreffler; and two brothers, Merl H. and Ervin D. Schreffler[.]
    A viewing will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at St. John's Lutheran Church, Leck Kill, with the Odd Fellows Lodge conducting their service at 9 p.m., and again from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the church where the funeral will follow at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Frederick Faust officiating.
    Interment will follow in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery.
    Memorial contributions may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church, 4330 Schwaben Creek Road, Leek Kill, PA 17836.

    LECK KILL -- Mrs. Irene Schreffler, 74, died suddenly Sunday morning at 9:30 in her residence. She was stricken acutely ill while preparing to leave for church.
    Born in Rebuck, February 5, 1897, Mrs. Schreffler was the former Miss Irene Schreffler, daughter of the late Hiram and Melinda (Rebuck) Schreffler.
    She was educated in Rebuck, and was married to Daniel Schreffler, who preceded her in death February 20. 1968. Mrs. Schreffler was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Leck Kill. She had been a resident of Leck Kill since her marriage.
    Survivors include five sons, Darvin and Ervin, both of Leck Kill; Merl, Pitman; Guy, Rebuck, and Delvert, Dalmatia R.D; 13 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and three sisters. Mrs. Mamie Latsha. Millersburg; Mrs. Sylvester, Dnyder [Snyder], and Mrs. Gertie Fetter, both of Rebuck. A daughter, Elva, preceded Mrs. Schreffler in death July 11, 1949.

    Paul W. Schreffler, 57, Leck Kill
    LECK KILL -- Paul W. "Bally" Schreffler, 57, died Sunday, August 12, 2007, at West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh, where he had been a patient for the past two weeks. He had been in ill health for four years.
    He was born in Danville, on June 6, 1950, a son of Darvin Schreffler, of Leck Kill, and the late Anna (Schreffler) Schreffler. On June 8, 1974, he married the former Elina Sevillano, who survives.
    Paul was a 1968 graduate of Line Mountain High School, Herndon.
    He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, having served in the United States Air Force. Paul was employed as a carpenter for Paul Q. Ross Construction, Inc., Sunbury.
    He was a life member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Leck Kill, where he currently served as church council president and had served on the church council for many years, and also served on the St. John's Lutheran Cemetery Board. He was a member and former driver for the Mahantongo Valley Ambulance Assoc. for many years, and was a member of the Alvin Long American Legion, Herndon.
    He enjoyed woodworking.
    In addition to his father and wife, he is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law, Michael and Erika Schreffler, of Festus, Mo; and Andrew Schreffler, of Leck Kill; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Arlene and Ernest Brown, of Sunbury; and Erma and Dennis Tressler, of Middletown, Md; one niece, Trish Tressler, of Frederick, Md; and three nephews, Troy Laudenslager, of Palmyra; Scott Laudenslager, of Sunbury; and Nick Tressler, of Frederick, Md.
    A visitation will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, at St. John's Lutheran Church, Leck Kill, where a funeral service will be conducted at 11 with the Rev. Sonja Ware officiating.
    Burial will be in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Leck Kill. The family requests no flowers, but contributions may be made in Paul's memory to St. John's Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, Leck Kill, PA 17836 or Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 800 Corporate Circle Suite, Suite 100, Har-risburg, PA 17110.
