    Wounds Fatal To Shen. Woman
    A Shenandoah woman, the mother of six children, was pronounced dead upon arrival at the Locust Mountain Hospital from gunshot wounds received at her home shortly before 9 o'clock this morning.
    Mrs. Elsie Krussick, 42, of 18 Franeys Row, was found lying unconscious in a pool of blood in an upstairs room by her two sons, who heard a single blast while watching television downstairs.
    Mrs. Krussick was shot in the chest. Her, sons, Frank Staskel, 26, and Joseph Krussick, 10, said she was in the habit of handling firearms, but there were no witnesses to the mishap.
    Rushed to the hospital in the Shenandoah community ambulance, she was dead upon arrival at the hospital. Dr. William A. Van Saun, local deputy coroner, released the body to J. A. Oravitz, funeral director.
    Mrs. Krussick's husband, Joseph, is presently on a business trip.
    Mrs. Krussick was born in Ashland and was educated in schools of that community. She was the former Elsie Weist.
    Survivors, besides her husband and two sons, include four daughters, Mrs. Alberta Gober, New York; Theresa, New Mexico; Mary, New Jersey; Josephine, Centralia; two brothers, Harry and Arthur Weist, New Jersey, and one sister, Mrs. Alice Wetzel, Ashland.

    Surviving are a son, Paul Jr., at home; four sisters, Josephine Lynch, Jersey City, N.J., Rose Horbach, Lansdale, Mary Jane Selinsky, and Jane MichaeL California; four brothers, Carl, Lavelle, David, Lansdale, and Ralph and William, both of Levittown.
    Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Christ Church Cemetery, Fountain Springs. The Rev. L.H. Bollinger, Evangelical Congregational Church, Barry Township, will officiate. Frederick T. Kull Funeral Home Inc., Ashland, has charge of arrangements.

    Mrs. Wiest was a former resident of Hebe. Her husband, Irvin Wiest, preceded her in death about twenty years ago.
    Survivors are her daughter, Mrs. Smeltz, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services were held from the Rothermel Funeral Home, Herndon, at 2:00 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, with further services in St. David's Lutheran and Reformed Church at Hebe. Rev. Paul W. Billow, pastor of the Urban Lutheran Parish officiated and interment was made in the Union Cemtery at Pillow.
