  • Rachel Rebecca Kramer is also referred to as Rachel R. Engle in some sources.1
  • She was born on 28 May 1885, Cameron Township, Northumberland County, PA.1,2
  • She was the daughter of Amos Kramer and Catherine Ann Long.2
  • Rachel Rebecca Kramer was baptized on 21 June 1885, St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church, West Cameron Township, Northumberland County, PA.4
  • The sources are in conflict on the identity of Rachel's father. Some sources, including her death certificate, list her as the daughter of a John or Amos Kramer (Kreamer) and Catherine Long. Other sources list her parents as John W. Engle and Catherine (Long) Engle, but her mother Catherine Long did not marry John W. Engle until Rachel was 5 years old. Whether Catherine was married to Rachel's father is unclear.5,1
  • In the 1900 Census, Rachel is apparently listed in the household of her mother (Catherine Long) and step-father John W. Engle, although the spelling of her name (possibly "Riley") is uncertain. The listing is for a female born in May, 1885.3
  • She married Monroe W. Rothermel, son of William Wilson Rothermel and Sarah Ann Shaffer, on 24 August 1902, Northumberland County, PA.1,6
  • Rachel Rebecca Kramer died on 12 February 1936, Pitman, Schuylkill County, PA, at age 50.2,1
  • She was buried on 17 February 1936, at Jacobs Cemetery, Line Mountain, Northumberland County, PA.1,2
