    Mrs. Louise Brown, 70, Klingerstown R. D., Dies
    Mrs. Louise Brown, 70, of Klingerstown, R. D., died Saturday afternoon at her home near Leek Kill of complications following a long period of ill health. She was the wife of William Brown, a retired farmer, who survives in addition to the following sons and daughters: John, Oscar and Fred, of Shamokin; Harry, Milton; Samuel and Mrs. Charles Rebuck, Klingerstown, R. D; George and Mrs. Tom Klock, Pitman; Mrs. Charles Rothermel and Mrs. Howard Kissinger, of Akron, Pa. Two brothers, Isaiah and Monroe Bonner, live at Pillow; a sister, Mrs. William Strohecker, at Klingerstown, and a step-brother, John Reigle, at Dornsife.
    The deceased was born March 10, 1874, near Pillow, and was the daughter of Adam and Mary (Lesher) Bohner.
    Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock from the late home, with further services in the Hebe Lutheran and Reformed Church, of which Mrs. Brown was a member. Rev. Jacob M. Singer, Reformed pastor, will officiate. Interment will be in the Hebe cemetery.
    Friends may view the body this evening at the home.

    Father of 3 Local Residents Expires
    William F. Brown, 79, a retired farmer who lived in the Leck Kill area for many years, died last evening in the home of a daughter. Mrs. Howard Crissinger, Lincoln, near Ephrata, after an extended illness.
    Mr. Brown was born June 3. 1874 in Klingerstown. He spent most of his life on a farm and after retiring from farming activities visited his children, three of whom live in Shamokin. Mr. Brown was a member or St. David Reformed and Lutheran Church. Hebe. He was married to the former Louisa Bohner, who died eight years ago.
    Survivors include nine children, Oscar, George and Fred Brown, Shamokin; Harry Brown, Milton; Samuel Brown, Klingerstown; Mrs. Howard Crissinger, Lincoln; Mrs. Charles Rabuck, Klingerstown; Mrs. Thomas Klock, Pitman, and Mrs. Charles Rothermel, West Grove. Twenty-three grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and a number of stepbrothers and step-sisters survive, also.
    Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 1:30 in the Rothermel Funeral Home, Klingerstown, Further services will be in St. David Lutheran and Reformed Church, Hebe. Burial will be in the cemetery adjoining the church. Rev. Jacob Singer, pastor of Herndon Reformed Charge, will officiate. Viewing will be in the Rothermel Funeral Home Thursday evening and Friday until time of services.
