    Betty was employed as a proofreader for a newspaper in Princeton, N.J.
    She was a member of the Assembly of God Church.
    Betty and her late husband, Almond Snyder traveled extensively throughout the United States. She also enjoyed camping and attending antique tractor pulls.
    She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Ronald H. and Janie Snyder, of Dornsife; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by three brothers, Ira, Guy and William.
    A viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday in the Jerre Wirt Blank Funeral Home, 395 State St., Sunbury, followed by the funeral at 11 a.m.
    Interment will be in the Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington.

    PUNXSUTAWNEY -- The Rev. Ira J. Rebuck Jr., 73, of 100 Hill St., died Friday morning, Aug. 6, 1999, in Terre Haute, Ind., in an automobile accident while on vacation with his wife who was also killed.
    He was born Sept. 18, 1925, in Sunbury, a son of the late Ira and Bertha (Stroehecker) Rebuck Sr. He married the former Geraldine A. Kratzer Oct. 4, 1947.
    He graduated from Herndon High School. He was a graduate of Eastern Bible Institute, Greenlane.
    Mr. Rebuck served in the Navy during World War II aboard the USS Mt. Olympus in the Asiatic and Pacific campaigns. He participated in the liberation of the Philippines.
    He was an ordained minister in the Pennsylvania and Delaware Assembly of God Church for 46 years. Mr. Rebuck pioneered churches in Lamberville, New Brunswick and Remington, N.J.. He pastored churches in Fleetwood, Sunbury, and Punxsutawney, Pa. He was also an evangelist for several years. Most recently, he pioneered the New Beginning Church, Punxsutawney, a non-denominational church.
    Mr. Rebuck was a sectional commander for the Royal Rangers, a boys organization in the Assembly of God Church.
    Surviving are 10 children, Craig, Dennis, and Kevin, of Punxsutawney, Ken, of Chicago, Steve, of Lakeland, Fla., Denise Halcom, of Bethalto, Ill., David, of Myerstown, Mary Keiffer of Lititz, Sue Cluck of Scottdale, and Kathie Carr of Portland, ME; 35 grandchildren; and one sister, Betty Snyder Keleman, of Dornsife.
    He was preceded in death by two j brothers, William and Guy.
    Visitors may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Jerre Wirt Blank Funeral Home, 395 State St., Sunbury. The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
    The private burial will be in Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington.
