    SUNBURY - Mabel E. Rebuck. 65, of 341 S. 10th St., died Thursday morning, April 19, 1990, in Sunbury Community Hospital.
    She was born in Dalmatia Nov. 20, 1924, a daughter of the late Francis and Ellen (Dreibelbis) Michael. She married Guy L. Rebuck in 1942.
    Mrs. Rebuck was a member of First Assembly of God Church, Sunbury.
    In addition to her husband, she is survived by four children, Terry L., Richard D., Timothy P. and Judy A. Besek, all of Sunbury; 11 grandchildren; and three sisters, Miriam Lahr of Herndon RD1, Elsie Dobson of Dornsife and Pauline Klock of Dalmatia RD1.
    A brother and a sister preceded her in death.
    The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Jerre Wirt Blank Funeral Home, Northumberland, by the Rev. Jerry Conley. Burial will be in the Lutheran and Reformed Cemetery, Dalmatia.
    Visitors may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today in the funeral home.

    Sunbury - Timothy P. Rebuck, 71 of Riland Road passed away on Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
    Tim was born March 8, 1952 in Sunbury a son of the late Guy L. and Mabel (Michaels) Rebuck. On August 14, 1970 he married the former Dianne M. Phillips who survives.
    Tim attended Sunbury Schools. He retired after 45 years of service with Mohawk Doors, Inc., Northumberland and was a member of their bowling league.
    Mr. Rebuck was a member of Christ Wesleyan Church, Sunbury.
    He was a former member of the Loyal Order of Moose, Selinsgrove. As an athlete, Tim played semi-pro football with the Selinsgrove Rough Riders, played on the church softball league and enjoyed golfing.
    He was an avid hunter, fisherman and enjoyed camping at the Central PA Wesleyan Campground where he volunteered his time mowing and gained the nickname, "turtleman" as he enjoyed catching snapping turtles from the campground pond.
    His greatest joy came from spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-granddaughter.
    In addition to his wife of 53 years, Tim is survived by; two daughters and one son-in-law, Dawn M. and Robert Snyder of Shickshinny, Jean M. Haight and fiance, Travis Bingaman of Sunbury, three grandchildren, Cameron S. Wolfe, Peyton T. Wolfe and fiancé, Hope Treaster all of Sunbury, Abigail M. Snyder of Shickshinny, great-granddaughter, Grace Elizabeth Wolfe, one brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Bonnie Rebuck of Milton, one sister, Judy Besek of Sunbury, his many cousins, nieces and nephews.and his precious cat, Dude.
    He was preceded in death by, two sons, Joseph Paul and Jonathan Michael Rebuck and a brother, Terry Rebuck.
    Friends and family may visit from 2:00pm to 3:00pm on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at Christ Wesleyan Church, 238 Walnut Street, Sunbury where a memorial service will follow at 3:00pm with Rev. Ryan Brosious officiating.
    Contributions in Tim's memory may be made to his church, Christ Wesleyan Church, 238 Walnut Street, Sunbury, PA 17801.
    Arrangements are by the Blank Funeral Home, 395 State Street, Sunbury.2

    MILLERSBURG -- Joyce L. Strohecker, 73, of 990 Medical Road, passed away Thursday, May 3, 2007, in the Harrisburg Hospital.
    She was born Thursday, Dec. 7, 1933, in Mandata, a daughter of the late John W. and Bessie M. (Dressier) Wendt. She was the widow of Elwood R. Strohecker.
    Joyce was a member of Reigle's Bible Fellowship Church, Millersburg, and The Red Hat Society.
    She enjoyed observing wildlife and nature.
    Surviving are four sons, David Strohecker, of Gratz, Roy Strohecker, of Killinger, Gary Strohecker, of Paxton, and Scott Strohecker of Spring Glen; two daughters, Lorraine Howerter, of Millersburg, and Donna Welker, of Spring Glen; one brother, Robert Wendt, of Dornsife; 11 grandchildren; and three step-grandchildren.
    Friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. May 7 at Reigle's Bible Fellowship Church, Millersburg, followed by the funeral at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Benjamin Brown officiating.
    Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Hoover Funeral Home, Inc., Millersburg, handled the arrangements.

    Gary L. "Rock" Strohecker, 60, of Millersburg passed away surrounded by family on Tuesday, June 22nd, 2021.
    He was preceded in death by his parents Elwood and Joyce (Wendt) Strohecker. Gary was a 1979 graduate of Upper Dauphin Area High School and previously worked at Aumiller's Auto Parts and the Harrisburg International Airport. He loved to fix up trucks and tractors and spend time cooking for his family and neighbors on one of his many grills or smokers.
    He is survived by his brother David (Ann) of Gratz, Roy (Tina) of Millersburg, Scott (Diana) of Gratz and sisters Lorraine (Les) Howerter of Millersburg and Donna (Chirp) Welker of Gratz, as well as many nieces and nephews.
    A graveside memorial service will be held Monday, June 28th at Reigles Bible Fellowship cemetery at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to James A. Reed Funeral Home, PO Box 8, Pillow, PA 17080, to help cover the funeral cost.2
