    Born at Leck Kill, June 8, 1921, he was a son of the late A. Wilson and Emma Howerter Brown.
    He was educated in the Leck Kill area schools. He was a retired farmer, retiring in 1986.
    He was a member of St. Michael's Lutheran Church, Klingerstown; a former member of the Klingerstown Fire Company; and the Mahantongo Fire Company, Pitman.
    He was preceded in death by a brother, Norman P. Brown, who died June 19, 1998; and a grandson, Miguel Harner, who died May 4, 1988.
    Surviving are his wife of 61 years, Eva J. Klinger Brown; a son, Richard C. of Reading; a daughter, Sandra M. Angst of Pillow; four grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
    Funeral services were held Friday, June 11, at St. Michael's Lutheran Church, Klingerstown, with the Rev. Mark Rothermel officiating. Interment was in St. Michael's Lutheran Cemetery, Klingerstown.

    Memorial contributions may be made to the Friendly Nursing Home, 200 Taylorsville Mountain Rd., Pitman, PA 17964. The Stephen R. Rothermel Funeral Home, Klingerstown, was in charge of arrangements.3

    H. Marie Kline, Spang Crest and formerly of 504 Chestnut St., Lebanon, died this morning at Spang Crest after a long illness. She was 75. Her husband, the Rev. Raymond A. Kline, died in 1937.
    Born in Klingerstown, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Agnes Klinger Herb. Her father owned the American House on North Ninth Street in Lebanon.
    In 1969, she retired as Lebanon County Deputy Register of Wills. She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church where she served as teacher of the Klover Klass for 35 years. She was also a former member of the Church Council, Altar Guild, Spang Crest Auxiliary and served on various other committees.
    She is survived by four children: Helen, wife of Robert G. Kreider, Rockville, Md; Raymond A., Rockville, Md; Marguerite Duncan, Pratteville, Ala., and Yvonne, wife of Frank Henninger, Lebanon; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

    SUNBURY - Harry E. Phillips, 95, Sunbury RD3, died yesterday morning in Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
    Born in Jordan Township, Aug. 22, 1890, he was the son of the late George and Mary Michael Phillips.
    His first wife, the former Hester Deppen, died in 1960. In 1962 he married the former Mary Shaffer Rothermel.
    Mr. Phillips owned and operated farms in Lower Augusta and Jordan townships. He was past president of the Herndon National Bank and, for many years, served on the bank's board of directors. He was a member of Himmels Lutheran Church, Rebuck; International Order of Odd Fellows, Sunbury RD3; and the Herndon Fire Company. He was a fire warden for the Pennsylvania Department of Forestry and recently received an award for 70 years of service.
    In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, Mrs. Mae P. Hoffman of Lykens RD1 and George J. Phillips of Sunbury RD3; four stepchildren, Mrs. Mildred E. Schwalm of Spring Glen Star Route, Nevin C. Rothermel of Dornsife RD1, Mrs. Alma M. Klinger of Lykens RD1 and Guy W. Rothermel of Winfield RD1; 11 stepgrandchildren; and 21 stepgreat-grandchildren.
    The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Himmels Lutheran Church, Rebuck, by the Rev. Paul Billow. Burial will be in St. Paul's Reformed Cemetery, Urban.
    Friends will be received in the church Wednesday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.
    Contributions may be made to the memorial fund of Himmels Lutheran Church, Rebuck.
    Funeral arrangements were made by the Jerre Wirt Blank Funeral Home, Sunbury.
