    Mrs. Barbara S. Klinger, age
    68 years, died at her home in Lykens Township on Tuesday. She was a member of St. Michael's Church, Klingerstown.
    Mrs. Klinger was a daughter of Harrison and Ellen (Snyder) Williard, and was a native of Lykens Township. Her husband, Alexander Klinger, preceded her in death two years ago.
    Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. William Wiest of Klingerstown; Mrs. Roy Shade and Mrs. Ray Hartman, both of Lykens Township; twelve grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; and three brothers, Morris and Isaiah Williard, of Klingerstown, and William Williard, of Independence, Missouri.
    Services will be held from the residence at 10 o'clock Saturday morning. Rev. W. Z. Artz, pastor of the Lykens Valley Lutheran Parish will officiate and interment will be in the Klingerstown Cemetery.
    Friends may call at the residence Friday evening from 7 to 9 o'clock.

    HERNDON - Mae I. (Wolfgang, Schreffler) Haussler passed peacefully on Saturday, November 05, 2022, 2 months short of her 89th Birthday at the Evangelical Hospital in Lewisburg.
    She was the daughter of Stanley & Helen (Klinger) Wolfgang. She was preceded in death by her husband Christian O. Haussler in 2016, brothers Glenn & Allen and her step daughter Donna (John) Maguire.
    Mae is survived by her children Ernest Schreffler & wife Diane, Joyce & husband Roger McRae, stepchildren, Susan (Greg) Diehl, Heidi (Michael) Mason & Christian Jr. (Kathy) Haussler, grandchildren Brian Romberger, Steven Schreffler, Keith Janson, & Melissa Mix, step grandchildren Karl, Erich, Pamela, Christian III, Amy, Amanda, Brenda, Hunter, & Max, great grandchildren Gavin & Brielle, John & Alec, Justin, Cameron, Jackson, Zachary, Bentley & Avery plus 7 Haussler great grandchildren (Harley, Ava, Siera, Finn, Scarlett, Emma, and Luca). She is also survived by Brother, Earle Wolfgang, 4 nieces & 1 nephew.
    She was initiated as a member of local Rebekah Lodge #58 of Dornsife in 1961. After marrying Christian Haussler in 1995, who she met at "lodge conventions". Chris was already a member of the Fraternal organization of the IOOF (Independent Order of Odd Fellows). Mae began to be significantly more involved in the Rebekahs, also known as the International Association of Rebekah Assemblies (IARA), and originally the Daughters of Rebekah, which is an international service-oriented organization and a branch of the IOOF. It was initially designed as the female auxiliary of the IOOF.
    She lived her life based on the Rebekah Creed: God, Love, Truth, Family & Friendship. Mae held many positions within the organization including: Secretary, Noble Grand, Vice Grand, Past Noble Grand, District Deputy President 1996-1997 and President of International Association Ladies Auxiliaries Patriarchs Militant I.O.O.F from 2010-2011. She was the leader of the Initiation Team, which travelled across Pennsylvania to help initiate New Lodges. She attended the Assemblies session of PA annually. Also, she was on the Board of Directors of the Middletown Home.
    As her children, we always had her support in doing homework in school, cooking excellent meals, keeping us well groomed, and headed us on the right track of life.
    She will definitely be missed by her Family & Friends. She was recently planning a weeklong trip to Iowa for a Rebekah Convention on November 3 - 5 with two of her friends.
    A memorial service with be held on Friday, November 11th starting at 11:00am with a Rebekah Lodge #58 service, and the church service immediately following at Peace UCC, 150 N. Chestnut St., Berrysburg. There will be a visitation period from 10:00-11:00 am at the church.

    CHRISTIAN O. , 87, of Raupstal Road, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2016 at the Community General Osteopathic Hospital, Harrisburg.
    He was born Sept 19, 1928 in Philadelphia, son of the late Karl and Gertrude Haussler. He was an Army veteran and served during the Korean War. He was a retired electrical engineer and had worked in the past for Budd Train Co., Philadelphia and he traveled internationally for Huntingdon Industries working on production lines for drink bottling companies.
    He was a member of Peace UCC in Berrysburg. He was a lifetime member of the Odd Fellows Walker Lodge 306, Perseverance Encampment 135, Canton 1, Sovereign Grant Lodge member in various officer positions, and an Associate Member of the Dornsife Mahanoy Lodge 551. He was also members of American Legion Post 504 in Mandata and the Gratz VFW 2385. He performed reenactments with the North-South Skirmish Association and was very proud to participate annually for over 20 years at the "Changing of the Guard" at the tomb of the Unknown Soldier. During his younger years, he played soccer for the Phoenix and German Hungarian Clubs, all in the Philadelphia area. He loved woodworking, building & remodeling homes, travelling the world, and yard sales. He was a fan of all the Philadelphia sport teams. He was a very kind and generous, was always willing to give of his time and expertise, and was admired by many young and old.
    He was the widower of Stella Haussler and the husband of Mae I. (Wolfgang) Haussler who survives him in Herndon.
    Other survivors include daughter, Susan (Gregory) Diehl , Ambler; Son Christian Jr. (Kathy) Haussler, Ards ley; Daughter, Heide (Michael) Mason, Evansville, IN; step-son Ernest (Diane) Schreffler, Halifax; step-daughter, Joyce (Roger) McRae, Montgomery; 9 grandchildren, Karl, Erich, Pamela, Amy, Christian III, Amanda, Brenda, Hunter and Max; one great granddaughter, Harley; 4 step-grandchildren, Brian, Steven, Keith and Melissa; 9 step-great grandchildren, Gavin, Brielle, John, Alec, Justin, Cameron, Jackson, Zachary and Avery. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Maguire, brother Charles, and sister Gertrude.
    There will be a viewing at his church on Monday, Jan 18, 2016 from 9 - 11 A.M. The Odd Fellows will hold services at 10:45 A.M. with regular services at 11 A.M. followed by burial and military honors at Riverview Memorial Gardens, Halifax.
