    Eva is survived by one daughter, Sandra M. Angst of Pillow; one daughter-in-law, Miriam J. Seifrit of Fleetwood; four grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther E. Brown on June 8, 2004; six brothers, Carlos E., Homer A., Ralph R., Raymond M., Paul W. and Guy J; four sisters, Stella M. Klinger, Vinnie A. Strohecker, Helen I. Wolfgang, Lucy A. Clark; one son, Richard C. Seifrit; and one grandson, Miguel S. Harner.

    A miner by occupation, he was employed in the Williamstown area until forced to retire due to ill health. He was born January 6, 1897, son of the late Daniel and Emma Klinger, and was a member of the United Brethren Church, Fearnot.
    To survive he leaves his wife, Katie, and the following children: Galen and Mrs. Guy Harner, Valley View; Mrs. Raymond Crouthermel, Hickory Corners; Chester, of Hegins R.D., Violet and Elaine, at home. Seven grandchildren and three brothers: Allen and Forrest, Elizabethville, and Daniel, Ashland R.D. also survive.

    Born in Fearnot, Sept. 28, 1925, he was a son of the late Lester and Kate Klinger.
    He was an Army veteran of World War II. He received a Purple Heart, Bronze Star, Good Conduct Medal, Expert Markmans [sic] Medal, Valuitorius [sic] Service Medal and Silver Star.
    He was a retired coal miner.
    He was a member of Gratz Veterans of Foreign Wars Post.
    He was preceded in death by a daughter, Susan.
    Surviving are three sons, David, Iowa, Stephen, Elizabethville, and Michael, Dillsburg; two daughters, Bonita Paul, South Dakota, and Trudy Klinger, Dornsife; four sisters, Eilene Leitzel, Violet Rebuck and Ida Koppenhaver, all of Gratz, and Melba Croutharmel, Elizabethville; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
    Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday from John R. Shultz Funeral Home, Lykens. The Rev. Robert L. Straub will officiate. Interment with military honors will be in Calvary United Methodist Cemetery.7
