    She was born on Monday, October 29, 1906 in Hubley Twp, a daughter of the late Rathmus and Edna (Shade) Miller.
    She was a member of St. Peter's United Methodist Church, Fearnot. She was also a member of the Tri-Valley Senior Citizens.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Zerbe, a daughter Elsie Brown, a sister Daisy Lettich, and a brother William Miller.
    She is survived by two sons, John "Irvin" Zerbe and his wife, Ruby of Madison, Wisconsin and Daniel Zerbe and his wife, Judy of Massillon, Ohio; five grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren; and a sister, Edna Violet Artz of Spring Glen.
    Services will be held at St. Peter's United Methodist Church, Fearnot, on Saturday, January 19, 2008 at 11 a.m. with Rev. William Danis officiating. A viewing will be held Saturday, January 19th at the church from 10 to 11 a.m. Burial will be made in the St. Andrew's United Methodist Cemetery, Sacramento, PA.
    Memorial contributions can be made to St. Peter's United Methodist Church, 428 Fearnot Road, Sacramento PA 17968.

    Born in Fearnot, Nov. 1, 1911, she was a daughter of the late Rathmas and Edna Shade Miller.
    She retired as a seamstress having worked in area garment factories.
    She was a member of St. Mark's United Methodist Church, Spring Glen, and the former Daughters of America, Spring Glen.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Ivan W. Artz, in 1989; two sons, Elwood Artz and Irvin Artz; a brother, William Miller; two sisters, Rosa Zerbe and Daisy Lettich.
    Surviving are a son, Wayne I. Artz and his wife, Ruth, Spring Glen; a daughter, Vera V. Coleman, Pine Grove; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
    Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, with the Rev. William Danis officiating. A viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Mark's Cemetery, Spring Glen.
