    Leroy M. Renninger, 85, of Newtown, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday morning at Tremont Health and Rehabilitation Center.
    Born in Newtown, April 27, 1931, he was a son of the late William and Katie Klinger Renninger.
    He was a retired mechanic from Renninger's Garage, Newtown.
    Leroy was a member of Friedens Lutheran Church, Llewellyn, Newtown Fire Company, Newtown Gun Club, Trails End Hunting Club and Black Rock Hunting Club.
    He will be remembered for being a hardworking man who had a true talent with woodworking. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. His family meant the world to him. He will be deeply missed.
    In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Hattie Schneck Renninger, July 12, 2008; brother, Earl Renninger; sister, Sarah Wetzel.
    Surviving are six children, Jean Marie Bensinger, New Ringgold, Lois Donmoyer and her husband, Ralph, Newtown, Susan Lehman and her husband, Craig, Pine Grove, Linda Becker and her husband, Ted, Newtown, Larry Renninger and his wife, Dottie, Pine Grove, and Fay Kender and her husband, Butch, Tremont; a sister, Elsie Moyer, Newtown; 12 grandchildren, Jennifer, Kevin, Jason, Michael, Cody Heidi, Jeremy Jeff, Wendy, Seagey Jessica and Nicole; 20 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
    A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Chapel of Dimon Funeral Home Inc., Tower City, with the Rev. Linda Bonfiglio officiating. A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the chapel. Interment will be in Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven. The family would prefer remembrances in memory of Leroy in the form of contributions to the Hunter William Renninger Memorial Scholarship Fund, co Schuylkill Area Community Foundation, 216 S. Centre St., Pottsville, PA 17901.

    CLIFFORD B. MOYER Clifford B. Moyer, 45, of 1 S. Tremont St., Zerbe died Monday afternoon in Good Samaritan Hospital where he had been a patient since September 22. In ill health for the past ten months, he was last employed as a supervisor at Richmond Screw Anchor Company, Tremont, where he was employed for six years.
    Born in Tremont, a son of the late Harry and Sara Hubler Moyer, he was a resident of Zerbe for the past twenty-three years and a member of Friedens Lutheran Church, Llewellyn, Tremont Lions Club and Newtown Fire Company.
    He is survived by his wife, the former Elsie Renninger; one son, Bruce and one daughter, Elaine, both at home; one brother, Lester of Avondale, N.J; two sisters, Pauline, wife of Luther Staller of Tremont; Marian, wife of Kenneth Lutz of Reading; one granddaughter, Michelle.
    Funeral services were held this afternoon from his late residence under the direction. of the W. E. Minnig Funeral Home, Tremont. The Rev. Sterling Bashore, pastor of Freidens Lutheran Church officiated and interment was in Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven.

    Born Feb. 15, 1928, in Fearnot, she was a daughter of the late Ivan and Edna Violet Miller Artz.
    She was a 1946 graduate of Hubley Township High School, and worked as a seamstress for Summit Station Manufacturing, Pine Grove.
    Vera was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Pine Grove, where she was president of the Good Will Class for many years and sang in the choir.
    Her beautiful handiwork will always be remembered by her family in the quilts she made and lovingly gave to all her children and grandchildren. She was an avid reader. Even though she lived the last few years in Florida to be near her children, she was always a Pennsylvania girl and wanted to return to her roots.
    Vera was preceded in death by her husband, Ivan R. Coleman, in 1997; two brothers, Elwood and Irvin Artz.
    Surviving are a son, Stephen Coleman and his wife, Gloria, Deltona, Fla; a daughter, Gail and her husband, James Backfisch, Jacksonville Beach, Fla; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a brother, Wayne Artz and his wife, Ruth, Spring Glen; nieces and nephews.
    A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at H.L. Snyder Funeral Home Inc., Pine Grove, with Dr. Ira Lydic officiating. There will be a viewing from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.

    Surviving are her grandson, Scott A. and Melissa A. Graeff, of Dauphin; great-grandchildren, Brian, Ashley, Jennifer and Kimberly; great-great-granddaughter, Caliegh; two nephews; three nieces; five great-nephews; three great-nieces; and numerous great-great-nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by a daughter, Ella J. Graeff, and sisters, Carrie, Mildred, Margaret and Myrl.
    Friends may call from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the David T. Zweier Funeral Home Inc., 157 Chestnut St., Sunbury, followed by the funeral at 11 with the Rev. Barbara Welsh, of Ashgrove United Methodist Church, officiating.
    Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Elizabethville.
