    Glenn E Masser ,age 77, of Dornsife, passed away Saturday, July 5, 2025 at his residence.
    He was born on Monday, April 26, 1948, in Klingerstown, a son of the late Ernest F Masser and the late June M (Troutman) Masser.
    He was a graduate of the former Mahanoy Joint High School.
    He served in the US Army and the Army National Guard.
    Glenn was a PA State Constable for Northumberland County.
    He was an Upper Mahanoy Twp Supervisor.
    Glenn was a member of FandAM Herndon Lodge #702, and the Klingerstown Fire Company and Fire Police.
    He enjoyed hunting, fishing, shooting, and spending time with his family.
    He was preceded in death by a great granddaughter, Aubrey Klinger, and a sister, Connie S Masser.
    He is survived by his wife Cheryl L (Purcell) Masser, to whom he was married for 44 years.
    He is also survived by five sons, James A (Roseanne Barr) Masser of Dornsife, Timothy I (Melissa Fritchey) Masser of Dornsife, Thomas O (Cathleen) Masser of Albuquerque, NM, Bradlee J (Amber) Purcell of Dornsife, and Glenn E (Kelsey) Masser of Dornsife; two daughters, Jessica L (Charles) Meyers of Hawaii and Rebecca L (Papanii) Davies of Columbia, MD; eighteen grandchildren; five great grandchildren; a sister, Shirley M (David) Hilbert of Dornsife; two brothers, Robert L (Rhonda) Masser of Dornsife and Dennis L (Christina) Masser of Dornsife; and several nieces and nephews.
    Funeral services will be held at Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Inc., Valley View, on Thursday, July 10, 2025, at 11:00 am, with Rev. Terry Wimmer officiating.
    A viewing will be held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Thursday at the funeral home.
    Burial will be in Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington.
    Memorial contributions can be made to Geisinger Hospice, 1253 North Susquehanna Trail, Suite 102, Selinsgrove PA 17870.
