    Death of a Well Known Hubley Twp. Farmer
    Daniel E. Carl, aged 71 years, a well known farmer of near Fearnot, Hubley township, died suddenly at about 6 o-clock December 31, his birthday anniversary. He was well known in this valley, having in previous years made regular trips through here. He was a brother ot the late Abe Carl of town, and is survived by a number of adult children, one sister, Miss Elizabeth Carl, and a brother, Samuel Carl. His funeral took place from his late home on Tuesday morning with interment in Schwalm's cemetery, Fearnot.
    His uephew, F. M. Carl and family and other relatives and friends from this valley attended the funeral.
