  Word of the death of an eighteen-year-old Millersville State Teachers College freshman, resulting from an automobile accident near his Minersville, Pa. home, was received here Monday by College officials.
  Claude Ulmer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur W. Ulmer, 8 Carbon St., Minersville, died Thanksgiving evening after the car in which he was riding went out of control and turned over on a rural road between Minersville and Primrose. He was thrown from the car and severed a jugular vein.
  College officials said Ulmer had begun classes there in September and had left the school last Tuesday to begin his Thanksgiving vacation at home. He is survived by his parents and a sister, Gretchen, at home.

  Emily A. Morris, 89, of Bloomsburg Health Care Center, died this morning in Bloomsburg Hospital where she was a patient for a week.
  She was born in Centralia, Feb. 10, 1898, a daughter of the late David and Martha Heist Conrad.
  She was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church, Ashland.
  She was married to Louis Morris on Oct. 2, 1919, in St. Stephen's Church, Mount Carmel. He died in 1977. She was also preceded in death by a son, William, and a daughter, Jean Jordan.
  Surviving are two daughters, Beatrice Clews, Pasadena, Md., and Betty Noble, Centralia; a son, Louis Jr., Mount Carmel; 15 grandchildren; two sisters, Manda Nuss, Merrian, and Fred Mowery, Bristol.
  Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in St. John's Episcopal Church. The Rev. Richard Gerard will officiate. Interment will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Centralia. Joseph J. Stutz Jr. Funeral Home, Centralia, is in charge of arrangements.
