  Surviving are her husband, William; two sons, William R. and David, both of Frackville; two brothers, Michael Rozansky, Minersville, and Frank Rozansky, in Florida; six sisters, Rose David, Reading, Alfreda Bruzok, Frackville; Sophie Young and Tessie Wojcik, both in Massachussets, and Norma Rendaci and Helen DeForte, both in New York; two granddaughters.
  Services will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday from Henry J. Oravitz Home for Funerals Inc., Frackville. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. in St. Ann's Church, Frackville. Interment will be in St Joseph's Cemetery, Frackville.

  Elmer E. Erb, who at one time was president of Lebanon Valley College, died on Monday, at his home in Lawnton, Pa. He was 73 and was librarian of the Dauphin County Law Library and was a former Dauphin County treasurer. His death was ascribed to a heart attack.
  He was born in Hockersville, a son of the late William and Matilda (Hocker) Erb. He was educated at Hummelstown High School, Lebanon Valley College and the University of Michigan Law School.
  He served as supervising principal of the Hershey schools and was later chief of the state Corporaticn Bureau.
  He was admitted to practice at the Dauphin County Bar in 1913 and was active in the Dauphin County Bar Association. For several years he had law offices in Harrisburg. At one time he served as a deputy prothonotary. He was a member of Salem Evangelical and Reformed Church, Lawnton, and was active in Masonic organizations.
  His survivors are: his wife Mrs. B. Jean Erb; three sisters, Misses Edna arid Jennie Erb, and Mrs. Harry O'Neal, all of Hershey, and three nieces and three nephews.

  VERMILLION. S.D. -- Gretchen Ludeman, 69, of Vermillion died Monday, Nov. 8, 2004, at her residence following a long, hard-fought battle with cancer.
  Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at United Church of Christ in Vermillion. Arrangements are under the direction of Hansen Funeral Home in Vermillion.
  Gretchen was born July 27. 1935, in Portland, Ore., to Al and Gertrude (Isensee) Wiest. She and her family moved to San Francisco, Calif., where she attended elementary school and graduated with honors from San Mateo High School. She attended Stanford University and studied nursing.
  In 1957, she married Darrell Ludeman. They relocated to Tyndall, S.D. in 1958, later moving to Vermillion. She earned her bachelors of science degree in education from Southern College in Springfield, S.D. and her masters in education from the University of South Dakota. As a teacher in the Vermillion School District for 35 years, she touched the lives of thousands of students.
  She was actively involved in the South Dakota Education Association and the National Education Association. She served as a board member for SDEASE Great Lakes Unit and was a member of the South Dakota Educators Political Involvement committee and received a lifetime achievement award in 2000. She served as the NEA director for South Dakota for six years and during this time was a member of the SDEA executive committee. She was a member of PEO and the United Church of Christ in Vermillion.
  Grateful for having shared her love, wisdom and friendship are her children, Kathy Ludeman of Port Charlotte, Fla., Rick (Monya) Ludeman of Bentonville, Ark., and Sally Merrigan of Vermillion; her grandchildren, Danielle Griffin, Sarah Merrigan, Ricky Ludeman, Jordan Merrigan and Rachel Ludeman; a brother, David Wiest; and a sister, Sally Cahill. She will be missed by her numerous friends and teaching colleagues at Vermillion Middle School.
  She was preceded in death by her husband, Darrell; and a brother, Rich Wiest.

  Rogers, AR -- Dr. Darrell K. Ludeman, age 73, of Rogers. Arkansas, died Sunday. Nov. 9, 2003 at St. Mary's Hospital in Rogers.
  He was born January 17, 1930 in Mitchell. SD. Darrell spent his early life in Springfield, SD, where he graduated from high school and Southern State Teacher's College.
  Darrell taught for one year in Viborg, SD, and then entered Dental School at the University of Nebraska. After graduating, he spent four years as a dentist in the U.S. Navy.
  In 1957, Darrell returned to South Dakota to enter private dental practice in Tyndall. He moved with his family to Vermillion in 1968, when Darrell began teaching at the University of South Dakota, Department of Dental Hygiene. Ludy went on to become the Chairperson and Director of the Department of Dental Hygiene until his retirement. During his retirement, Ludy enjoyed golfing, fishing, and spending time with his family.
  Ludy will be missed by those who loved him: his wife, Gretchen; two daughters: Kathy, Port Charlotte, FL, and Sally, Vermillion, SD; son. Rick (Monya) Ludeman, Bentonville, AR; five grandchildren: Danielle Griffin, Richard and Rachel Ludeman, and Sarah and Jordan Merrigan; and brothers, Kay, Roger and Warren.
  A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15 at the United Church of Christ in Vermillion, SD. The family requests that memorials be directed to the Darrell Ludeman Dental Hygiene Scholarship Fund. Arrangements are by the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home in Bentonville. Arkansas.
