    Joseph A. Kissinger, 85, of Tower City, passed away Wednesday at Tremont Health and Rehabilitation Center.
    Born in Orwin, June 6, 1923, he was a son of the late George and Carrie Buffington Kissinger.
    He was a graduate of the former Porter Township High School.
    Joe retired from Central Trucking Harrisburg as a truck driver.
    He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church and a member of the Silver Gray Camping Group.
    In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Doris Evans Kissinger, and his daughter, Diane Lebo.
    Surviving are his wife of 20 years, Faye R. Deiter Kissinger; two sons, Donald Kissinger and his wife Joyce, Mechanicsburg, and Terry Kissinger and his wife, Karen, Tower City; two step daughters, Audrey Carl and her husband, Dan, Tower City, and Kathy Ahrensfield and her husband, Henry Gordon; two stepsons, James Deiter and his wife, Lori, Tower City, and Jeffrey Deiter, Florida; five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, five step-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren.
    Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday from the Chapel of Dimon Funeral Homes Inc., Tower City. The Rev. Natalya Cherry will officiate. Viewing will be from noon until the time of services Saturday Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery Orwin. In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to Christ United Methodist Church, 400 E.     Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Trinity Lutheran Church with the Rev. Carl Shankweiler officiating and the Rev. Curtis Zemencik assisting. There will be no viewing or visitation. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Valley View. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, P.O. Box 153, Valley View, PA 17983 or the American Cancer Society.
