    Kim was a member of Lykens U.M. Church, where she helped her mother with the ladies group at church.
    She enjoyed going to the concerts in the park at Lykens with her parents, attending church, watching movies on the Hallmark Channel, dining out, and talking on the phone with loved ones. She especially enjoyed embracing special moments and spending time with her family.
    She is survived by her sister Karen May and her husband Kenneth, sister Kelly Scheib and her husband Timothy, nieces Jennifer Hicks (Brandon), Lauren Palomares (Juan Paul), Abigail Scheib, and nephews Justin May, Andrew May, Samuel Scheib (Leah) and Ryan Scheib (Mary), 3 great nieces and 3 great nephews.
    The family will receive friends on Friday, Jan. 13, 2023 at Lykens United Methodist Church from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM, with burial to follow at Riverview Memorial Gardens, Halifax.

    Conrad Witmer Died Of Miners' Asthma
    The funeral of the late Conrad Witmer, 48 years, was held from his home on Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Services were conducted at the house by Rev. Ira F. Frankenfield, of the Lutheran Church, assisted by Rev. L. D. Reed, of the Evangelical Church. Interment was made in the Greenwood cemetery.
    Mr. Witmer's death occurred Friday afternoon at 2:15 o'clock. Although he had been a sufferer from miners' asthma for several years, and had to give up his employment at mining, he had been able to be about and was employed at light work on a WPA project until a week before his death, when he contracted a severe cold which developed into pneumonia.
    He was a son of the late Wm. Witmer and wife, and was born at Tamaqua on March 16, 1888. The family came to this valley when he was a small boy, and have resided here ever since. He was employed at mining until his health compelled his retirement several years ago.
    To survive he leaves his wife, formerly Minnie Lubold, four children, Leroy, Kenneth, Doris and Faye, all at home, and two sisters, Mrs. Allen Horn, of Tower City, and Mrs. Veronica Clark, of Reinerton.
    He was a member of the United Mine Workers of Reinerton, and the Junior Order of United American Mechanics of Muir. Burial was made in Greenwood cemetery and was in charge of funeral director Dreisigacker.
