  • Last Edited: 29 Jan 2008
  • Charlotte Klinger was born in 1896.
  • She was the daughter of Wellington E. Klinger and Amanda E. Wilbert.
  • There is a tombstone, in the same plot as Wellington and Amanda Klinger, listing Charlotte (1898-1935) with a son "Bobby Jr." (1926-1928). Based on this, Mary Klinger, Klingers from the Odenwald, Hesse, Germany, p. 405, concludes that she was the daughter of Wellington and Amanda. This may be in error. According to the 1900 and 1910 Census listings, Wellington and Amanda had 5 children born before 1910, only 3 of whom, "Esther," Roscoe, and Ralph, were living in 1900. This would suggest that Charlotte was not the daughter of Wellington and Amanda.1,2,3
  • Charlotte Klinger died in 1935.1
