    Raymond E. Boyer, 63, Danville
    DANVILLE -- Raymond E. "Ray" Boyer", 63, of 654 Bloom St. passed away in the company , of his family and friends on Sunday, Feb. 27, 2005, in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh, after a heroic battle with illness.
    He was born May 27, 1941, in Rebuck, a son of Anna (Troutman) Boyer of Dornsife and the late Melvin Boyer, who died in 1995. He married the former Mary Ann Wetzel, who survives.
    Ray was a 1958 graduate of Mahoney [Mahanoy] Joint High School and later received a degree from the Toledo Meat Cutting School, Toledo, Ohio, initiating a lifetime in food service.
    He moved to Danville in 1965. Mr. Boyer owned and operated Bpyer's Meats in Danville for the past 40 years.
    He was a member of Pine Street Lutheran Church, Danville, serving as usher and a past church council member.
    Mr. Boyer was also a member of the Susquehanna Valley Chamber of Commerce.
    Ray enjoyed his business, home improvement projects, his pond and relished teaching his grandchildren about the family business. Although Ray was unable to be an organ donor, he was an advocate for organ donation.
    Surviving in addition to his wife of 25 years and his mother, are three daughters and one son-in-law, Bonnie Wesstrom of Bloomsburg, Michelle and Brian Brady of Danville and Kelly Rae Boyer of Selinsgrove; four grandchildren, Corey, Troy, Shelly and Owen; two great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Darwin Boyer of Lewisburg and Kenneth Boyer of Selinsgrove.
    He was preceded in death by a sister, Phyllis Boyer.
    Friends may visit with the family from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Brady Funeral Home Inc., 320 Church St., Danville, and from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Pine Street Lutheran Church, Danville, where the funeral will follow at 10:30 with interim pastor, the Rev. Melody Sell, officiating.
    Burial will be in Himmel's Cemetery, Rebuck.
    The family will provide flowers and suggests contributions in Ray's memory be made to Pine Street Lutheran Church, Pine Street, Danville, PA 17821.

    FORMER RESIDENT DIED AT HARRISBURG HOSPITAL
    Mrs. Lottie Klinger, wife of Ralph Klinger, of Elizabethville, died at the Harrisburg hospital on Monday night at 10 o'clock. Her death resulted from a blood infection, arising out of a tonsil operation several months ago.
    Her husband, one daughter, Ella, aged 6 years, her mother, Mrs. Vesta Gamber, of Tower City, five sisters and two brothers, survive.
    The funeral will be private and will be held from the family home at Elizabethville on Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Services will be conducted by Rev. B. A. Gottschall, pastor of the Evangelical Church, and interment made in the Elizabethville cemetery.
