    Boyd A. Bohner, 66, of Pa., died Thursday at Geisinger Memorial Hospital, Danville.
    He was a member of United Church of Christ, a lifetime member of the Moose Lodge of Millersburg and a member of the Klingerstown Fire Co.
    Survivors include two sons, William L. of Herndon R.D. and Dean A., Gettysburg; two daughters, Mrs. James Troutman, Herndon, and Mrs. Larry Keely of Northumberland: five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
    Services will be held Sunday at 7 p.m. at David's United Church of Christ. Rev. Richard A. Harden, his pastor, officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home at ow Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m.

    Burl L. Leitzel, 62, of Trevorton Road, was pronounced dead on arrival at Shamokin State Hospital at 10 p. m. Friday, after being stricken ill at his home two and a half hours earlier. Mr. Leitzel had' been under physician's care for several years.
    He was a well known realtor, having maintained a business the Shamokin-Trevorton area for the past 29 years.
    Mr Leitzel was a native of Hebe, born there June 18, 1896, son of Samuel and Alice Troutman Leitzel, Berrysburg. He had resided all of his life in Northumberland County.
    He belonged to Pilgrim Holiness Church, Rebuck, in which he served as deacon and usher. He was member of the National Association of Realtors.
    Surviving are his wife, Ethel, his parents,a daughter, Mrs. Daisy Kreisher, Philadelphia; three sons, Rev. Leonard Leitzel, Frankford, Ind., Ralph Leitzel, Herndon, Forrest Leitzel, Millersburg; three step-daughters, Mrs. Harold Sheasley, Milton, Mts. Wendell Roush, Selinsgrove, and Miss Louella Kline, Tucson, Ariz., seven grandchildren and five step-grandchildren; three brothers, Emory Leitzel, Island Park; Elwood, Berrysburg, and Woodrow Leitzel, Alexandria, Va; seven sisters, Mrs. Violet Bohner, Hebe; Mrs. Irene Kehres, Middletown; Mrs. Helen Williams, Harrisburg; Mrs. Flora Hoffman, Boiling Springs; Mrs. Geraldine Welker, Tourist Park, and Mrs. Mildred Shuey, Middletown.
    Services will be held Tuesday at 2 p. m. from Pilgrim Holiness Church, Rebuck, in charge of Rev. Harry Daniels, pastor. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

    E.E. Leitzel, City Resident, Retired Teacher
    Emory E. Leitzel, 68, of 605 N. Third St.. Sunbury. was pronounced dead at his home Sunday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock. Death was due to a heart attack.
    Mr. Leitzel who suffered from a coronary condition since 1962, was discovered in the kitchen of his home by a son-in-law, James Beaver. He was last seen Friday around supper time and it is believed he died later that evening.
    A retired school teacher, he was born Jan. 13, 1901, in Jackson Township, a son of the late Samuel and Alice Brosious Leitzel. He was married to the late Margaret Howerter who preceded him in death in 1954 The couple lived on Island Park for many years.
    Mr. Leitzel attended Shamokin schools and was a graduate of Bloomsburg State College. He also graduated from the Coyne Electrical School, Chicago.
    He began his teaching career in elementary schools of lower Northumberland County. For a period of 13 years he worked at Westinghouse in Sunbury and after that company left the city he resumed his teaching career as an elementary teacher in Sunbury. He retired in 1963.
    Mr. Leitzel was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Sunbury, the Men's Bible Class of the church, Pennsylvania State 'Education Association. Retired Teachers Association, Maclay Lodge 632. Free and Accepted Masons, of Sunbury, and the Tall Cedars of Lebanon of Sunbury.
    Survivors include five children, Emory R. Leitzel, Silver Springs, Md; Mrs. Eileen Ramage, Mt. Carmel; Russel E. Leitzel, Hummels Wharf; Sgt. Ralph D. Leitzel, U.S. Air Force, Monument Beach. Mass., and Mrs. Rita Beaver, Sunbury, and 11 grandchildren.
    The following brothers and sisters also survive: Mrs. Irene Kehres, and Mrs. Mildred Shuey, both of Middleton; Mrs. Flora Hoffman, Mt. Holly Springs; Mrs. Helen Williams, Harrisburg; Mrs. Geraldine Welker, Halifax; Elwood Leitzel, Elizabethville, and Woodrow Leitzel, Richmond. Va. A brother and a sister preceded him in death.
    Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock from Trinity Lutheran Church, Susquehanna Ave., Sunbury. Rev. Henry L. Reed, his pastor, will officiate. Burial will be made in Pomfret Manor Cemetery, Sunbury. Friends will be received by the family at the Jerre Wirt Blank funeral home. 395 State St., Sunbury, on Wednesday night.
    The family will provide flowers and ask donations to the memorial fund of Trinity Lutheran Church.

    SELINSGROVE — Russel E. Leitzel, 73, of 21 Lincoln St., passed away on Saturday evening, Aug. 7, 2010, in the Manor at Penn Village, Selinsgrove.
    He was born March 13, 1937, in Klingerstown, a son of the late Emory and Margaret (Howerter) Leitzel. On Aug. 20, 1960, he married the former Sonna R. Derr, who survives.
    He graduated from Sunbury High School in 1955.
    Russel was employed by Kennedy Van Saun, Danville, retiring in 1987.
    He was a member of Church of Christ, Hummels Wharf. Russel enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was an amateur meteorologist and kept his own local weather statistics since 1953.
    In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law, Larry A. Leitzel, of Enola, and Dale M. and Patricia Leitzel, of Lititz; two grandsons, Patrick and Adam; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Emory and Ruth Leitzel, of Silver Spring, Md., and Ralph and Martha Leitzel, of Cape Cod, Mass; and one sister and brother-in-law, Eileen and Edward Ramage, of Mount Carmel.
    He was preceded in death by one sister, Rita Beaver.
    A memorial service will be held at a date to be announced.
    Funeral arrangements are by the Jerre Wirt Blank Funeral Home, 395 State St., Sunbury.

    Samuel A. Leitzel, 82, of Elizabethville R.D., died in Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, Thursday.
    Mr. Leitzel was a retired farmer.
    He was a member of St David's longed to POS of A Lodge 232. Hebe, and the Pillow Fire Company.
    A son of William and Barbara Clark Leitzel, he had resided in the Elizabethville area for several years. His wife, the former Alice Troutman Leitzel, preceded him in death two years ago.
    Surviving are six daughters and four sons, Mrs. Fred Hoffman, Boiling Springs; Mrs. Boyd Bohner, Hemdon R.D; Mrs. Fred Kehres, and Mrs. Charles Shuey, both of Middletown; Helena Williams, Harrisburg; Mrs, Elwood Welker, Halifax; Emory Leitzel, Sunbury; Elwood Leitzel, Elizabethville R.D; and Woodrow Leitzel, Richmond, Va; 32 grandchildren, 51 great-grandcliildren; and two brothers and three sisters, Roy and Adam Leitzel, and Mrs. John Straub, all of Elizabethville R.D; Mrs. Harry Weaver, Elizabethville, and Mrs. Nora Brosious, Shamokin R.D.
    Services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. from St. David's Lutheran Church, Hebe, in charge of Rev. Paul Billow, pastor, assisted by Rev. Thomas Berg, Berrysburg. Burial will be in the Hebe Cemetery.
    Friends will be received at the church Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m.
