    Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon from the Heffner Funeral Home, Orwigsburg for Deibert K. Bindley, 48. of 219 N. Wayne St.. Orwigsburg, who died Sunday at Veterans Administration Hospital, Wilkes Barre.
    A native of Pottsville, he was the son of Franklin Bindley and Minnie Koppenhaver Bindley Wagner. He had been employed by Windsor Knitting Mills, Hamburg until Dec. 5, 1967 when he became ill.
    An army veteran of World War II, he had served 42 months. He was a member of Port Carbon Amvets Post 235, Union Fire Co. No. 1 of Hamburg and Friendship Hose Co. No. 1, Orwigsburg.
    Surviving are his widow, the former Florence Bachman; one son, Franklin W., at home; three brothers, Benjamin, LeRoy and Robert, all of Pottsville; one sister, Katherine, wife of James Cappel of Port Carbon.
    The Rev. Robert Field officiated with burial in Schuylkill Memorial Park.

    She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Donna L. and Larry Keeley ; two brothers and sisters-in-law, William L. and Betty Bohner, and Dean A. and Dawn Bohner; and several nieces and nephews.

    Dean A. Bohner, 90, Gettysburg, PA died Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at the York Hospital.
    He was born March 12, 1929 in Hebe, PA the son of the late Boyd and Violet Leitzel Bohner.
    Dean is survived by his wife of 63 years, Dawn Morgan Bohner, a daughter, Debra Bitting of Gettysburg, PA, four grandchildren; Joshua Neiswender, Ryan Knaack, Allysa Knaack, Bret Bitting, a great grandson, Braden Neiswender, a brother, William Bohner of Hebe, PA and a sister, Donna Keeley of Lewisburg, PA. He was predeceased by a daughter, Denise Knaack.
    Dean was an active member of the Gettysburg Presbyterian Church where he had served as an Elder and Past President of the Board of Trustees. He graduated from Line Mountain High School. In his early years he was employed at Penn National Insurance Company as an underwriting supervisor. During that time he took a two year leave to play semi-professional baseball for the Philadelphia A’s farm system before returning to Penn National. Dean came to Gettysburg upon acceptance of a position with Bankers Insurance Company, where he later became President. He then founded and operated the Dean Bohner Insurance and Financial Services Company for over 40 years. Dean was Past President of the Gettysburg Underwriters Association. He was a member of the Good Samaritan Lodge #336 F&AM, and the Zembo Shrine. Dean was a golfer and sports enthusiast and a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, who enjoyed the time he spent with family and friends.
    A Memorial Service will be held Friday, December 6, 2019 at 11:00 AM from Gettysburg Presbyterian Church. Private interment will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Harrisburg, PA. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.     Services were held from . the Marlin S. Reed Funeral Home, Pillow, at 2:00 o'clock Monday afternoon. Rev. Paul Billow, pastor of the Urban Lutheran Parish officiated, and interment was made in St. David's Church Cemetery at Hebe.
