    He was born May 7, 1894, in Jordan Twp., Northumberland Co a son of the late Adam and Catherine Snyder Leitzel.
    He was a member of Simeon's United Lutheran Church, Gratz; the Gratz Fire Company and the Agriculture Horticulture Board of the Gratz Fair.
    He is survived bv his wife the former Hannah Rothermel a daughter, Mrs. James Lenker, of Harrisburg; two sons, Guy, of Hagerstown, Md., and Lee, of Elizabethville; 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs Mary Troutman, of Camp Hill and Mrs. Raymond Bensinger, of Klingerstown, and a brother Harry Leitzel, of Gratz.
    Services will be held at p.m. Thursday from Simeon's Church. The Rev. Rober Logan, pastor, will- officiate and burial will be made Union Cemetery, Gratz. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m Wednesday at the church. The Reed funeral home, Pillow, is in charge.

    EARL E. TROUTMAN
    Earl E. Troutman, age 58 years, died at his home in Millersburg Sunday evening. Mr. Troutman was a son of Mr. and Mrs. William L. Troutman and was a native of Jordan Township, Northumberland County.
    Earlier in life he taught school in Jordan and Cameron Townships in Northumberland County, and was formerly a rural mail carrier. He had also conducted a store at Hebe a number of years, and had been a resident of Millersburg since 1940.
    Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Mary Troutman, two daughters, Mrs. Neil Tocket of Halifax R. D; and Miss Doris Troutman, at home; two sons, Owen Troutman, Herndon R. D., and Lear Troutman, Halifax R. D; and seven grandchildren.
    Other survivors are his mother, Mrs. William Troutman, Millersburg; two sisters, Mrs. Allen Schlegel of Valley View and Miss Eva Troutman, Millersburg; and four brothers, Roscoe Trouiiuan, Herndon R. D; Emmon J. Troutman, Dalmatia; Grant Troutman, Pillow, and W. Forrest Troutman of Port Trevorton.
    Services will be held in Sr. David's Church, Hebe, at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon. Rev. J. M. Singer of Herndon, pastor of the Mahanoy Reformed Charge will officiate and interment will be in the Hebe Cemetery.

    Anna L. Lenker, 93, passed away on September 17, 2023 at the Camp Hill Skilled Nursing and Rehab Center in Camp Hill. She was the daughter of Naldy and Hannah Leitzel of Gratz, PA.
    Anna was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, James H. Lenker. She was also preceded in death by her two brothers, Guy and Lee. Anna is survived by her two sons, Richard E. Lenker (wife Ann M.) and James A. Lenker (wife Patricia), 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
    Throughout Anna’s life, she worked at the Bell Telephone Corp., Nationwide Insurance and Olivetti Underwood Co.
    A memorial service will be held at the Epiphany Lutheran Church at 1100 Colonial Road, Harrisburg on September 25th at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be held from 10 AM to 11 AM prior to the service.
    Private internment will be at Fort Indiantown Gap.

    James H. Lenker, 88, of Penbrook, passed away February 27, 2016. He was the loving and caring husband of Anna L. (Leitzel) Lenker and the son of the late Charles and Cora (Bonawitz) Lenker of Millersburg, PA.
    Jim was preceded in death by his brothers, Edwin and Donald, and his sisters, Marie Lenker and Pauline Stroup. He is survived by his sisters, Erma Stoneroad and Grace Warfel. In addition to his wife, Anna, he is survived by his children, Richard E. (wife Ann M.) and James A. (wife Patricia), 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
    Jim was a veteran of World War II, serving in 1946 and 1947. He was a carpenter most of his life, working for the Earl Latsha Lumber Company for 30 years, and W.S. Miller & Sons. He was active in the American Legion Post 1001 and the Dauphin County Veterans Honor Guard, where he assisted in over 600 services for our fallen veterans. He was a charter member of the PA Bluebird Society and a member of Epiphany Lutheran Church.
    Services will be held at the Epiphany Lutheran Church, 1100 Colonial Road, Harrisburg, on Monday, March 7, 2016. Viewing and visitation will be held from 9:45 am until 10:45 am, followed by funeral services. Jim will be honored with a burial at Fort Indiantown Gap Cemetery.
