    Nathan A. Adams, 88, Millersburg
    MILLERSBURG -- Nathan A. Adams, 88, of Medical Road, formerly of RR Herndon, died Tuesday, Nov. 3, 1998, at Susquehanna Lutheran Village, where he lived.
    He was born Jan. 13, 1910, in Jordan Township, the son of the late Henry and Emma (Goodman) Adams. He was married to the former Mabel I. Shaffer, who preceded him in death.
    Mr. Adams was employed by Bethlehem Steel as a steelworker and he was a farmer before retiring.
    He was a member of the Pillow Fire Company, the Dauphin County Volunteer Fireman's Association and United Steelworkers Union.
    Mr. Adams was a member of David's United Church of Christ, Hebe.
    Surviving are six sons, Melvin of RR2 Herndon, Jack, Robert and Steve, all of RR1 Herndon, Roy of RR3 Sunbury and Jeffrey of RR1 Dornsife; five daughters, Leona Monzuse of Riverside, Calif., Shirley Jimison of Port Trevorton, Patricia Byle of Powder Springs, Ga. Linda Leach of RR1 Sunbury and' Bonnie Klinger of RR1 Dornsife; 29 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grand child; and two sisters, Eva King and Martha Snyder, both of Lykens.
    He was preceded in death by one daughter, Ruby.
    Visitors may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the James A. Reed Funeral Home, Pillow, and from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, RR Herndon. The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at the church by the Rev. George Heberling. Burial will be in David's Church Cemetery.
    Contributions may be made to the memorial fund at David's United Church of Christ, RR, Herndon, Pa. 17830.
