    HAYDEN MORRIS KLINGER
    Funeral services for Hayden Morris Klinger, 44, who died at his home in Pottsville street, Wiconisco, early Thursday morning following an illness which kept him bedfast for the past five weeks, will be held from his late home on Sunday afternoon at 2 o'olock with Rev. H. E. Samuels, pastor of the Congregational Evangelical Church officiating. Burial will be made in the Wiconisco cemetery. Services will be in charge of John Yonascak Post American Legion, Lykens, of which he was a member. He was also affiliated with the V. F. W.
    Mr. Klinger was a veteran of the World War having been a member of the 79th Division. He was united in marriage to Miss Julia Rettinger, of Wiconisco, who with three children Robert, Dorothy and Arlene, survive. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel and Ellie Edward Klinger and the following brothers and sisters also survive: Homer, Camden, N.J; Lester, Carl and Samuel, Wiconisco; Mrs. Roy Machamer, Wiconisco; Mrs. Donald Hunter, Tower City, and Mrs. Verna Goodling, Millersburg.

    Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Adams, with whom she lived, and Mrs. Arlene Dietrich of Wiconisco; a son, Robert H., of Chicago; a sister, Mrs. Laura Machamer of Wiconisco; seven grandchildren, and six great­grandchildren.
    Services will be held Thursday, March 4 at 11 a.m., at the funeral home at 406 Market Street, Lykens. The Rev. Howard J. Wertz will officiate. Burial willl be in Calvary United Methodist Cemetery.3

    He was born December 1, 1920 in Wiconisco, son of the late Harry and Dora Shiley Deitrich; a 1938 graduate of the former Wiconisco High School; a retired employee of the PA Railroad; an Army Air Corp Veteran of World War II, having participated in the North Appennies, Po Valley and Rhineland Battles and received the European African Middle Eastern Service Medal with three bronze stars and a Service Stripe Good Conduct Medal. He enjoyed hunting and gardening.
    In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Harry and Clarence Deitrich and a sister, Violet Bender.
    Mr. Deitrich is survived by his wife: Arlene Klinger Deitrich; two sons: Robert C. Deitrich, Wiconisco and Carl E. Deitrich Jr., and his wife Cindy, Lykens; three daughters: Carl A. Enders, Muncy, Shirley J. Deitrich, Wiconisco, Mille Deitrich Bettinger and her husband Carl Jr., Tower City; a brother, Carl Deitrich; a sister, Mary Shaffer, both of Wiconisco; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
