    H. Carl Dietrich, 82, of 305 Center St., Wiconisco, died sn Monday at Harrisburg Hospital.
    He was born in Armstrong Valley, Halifax RD, son of the late Isaac and Sarah Hoffman Dietrich.
    He was a retired miner.
    He is survived by three sons; Harry, Carl and Charles, all at Wiconisco; one daughter, Mary Shaffer, at home, who is visiting her husband, Petty Officer Mark C. Shaffer in the U.S. Navy in Japan; two brothers, James; Windber; Joseph, Williamstown RD; one sister, Mrs. Irene Whitcomb, Williamstown; one step-brother, Howard, Wiconisco; 13 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and 2 step-great grandchildren.
    Services will be held at the Roy W. Schaffstall Funeral Home, 406 Market St., Lykens, Friday morning at 11:00 a. m. with Elmer A. Troutman, officiating. Burial will be made in the Wiconisco Cemetery.

    She was a member of Jehovah Witnesses.

    She was the widow of Charles "Charlie" Miller, who died in 2011.
    She was also preceded in death by brothers, Charles, Stanley and Nelson Straub; sisters, Mary Romberger and Marion Strohecker.
    Surviving are two daughters, Judy A. Klinger and her husband, Jack, Tower City, and Ruth Hoffman and her husband, Bill, Berrysburg; sister, Iva Hoffman; brother, Lee Straub; and grandchildren.
    Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday from Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Homes Inc., Tower City. Interment will be in Calvary United Methodist Cemetery, Wiconisco. A viewing will be from 1 to 2 p.m. at the chapel.

    He was born April 29, 1919 in Wiconisco, son of the late Daniel and Carrie Williams Miller. A 1937 graduate of Wiconisco High School; he was employed by the former Lykens Dairy and Don's Food Rite, Lykens; a member of David's U.C.C. Church (Hebe); Lykens American Legion Post No. 124; a Navy Veteran of World War II and enjoyed gardening, playing cards, reading and solving puzzles.
    In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Daniel and sisters, Margaret Nolan, Ruth and Anna Rudisill.
    Charlie is survived by his wife: Meda Miller, Millersburg, 2 daughters: Judy Klinger and her husband, Jake, Tower City; Jane Andrews, Bellefonte, a sister: Helen Keen, Wiconisco; 2 grandchildren: Tara Yohannan, Colorado; Tammy Trayer, Idaho; 2 great-grandchildren.
    Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, January 28th, at the John R. Shultz Funeral Home, 406 Market St., Lykens, with The Rev. Raymond W. Holland III, his pastor, officiating.
    Viewing will be from 1 p.m. until the time of the service Friday at the funeral home.
    Interment in Calvary United Methodist Cemetery, Wiconisco.
