    Born September 30, 1938 in Tower City; he was the son of the late Lawrence and Myrtle (Bowen) Hummel.
    Surviving is a daughter, Hollie Hummel-Bryant (Kurt); son, Anthony Hummel (Dana); stepson, Matt Sanders; two brothers, Lawrence Hummel (Doris) and Robert Hummel (Carol); sister, Linda DuClose; and 5 grandchildren, Alyssa Hummel, Garrett Griffith, Jazmin Bryant, Judah Bryant and Addison Sanders.
    LaMar received many awards in his military career. His last duty assignment was working as a Sargent First Class instructor at the Region 1 NCO Academy at Indiantown Gap. In retirement, he went to work for the State of PA in the Social Security Office.
    Graveside Service will be held at 10:30 AM Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
