  Mrs. Lamar Hummel Died In France
  Mrs. Herma Hummel, wife of Sgt. LaMar E. Hummel, former town resident, died Wewdnesday, December 4, in Paris France. Sgt. Hummel is stationed with themilitary police on the outskirts of Paris.
  Mrs. Hummel, the former Herma Myer, a native of Germany, was a United States citizen.
  The Hummel family are members of St. John's United Church of Christ, Sch. Haven.
  Surviving are her husband, her mother and stepfather in Germany, and a sister, Mrs. Erica McCulbugh of Steubensville, Ohio.
  The body of Mrs. Hummel was flown to this country for burial. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon from Geschwindt Funeral Home, Sch. Haven. Rev. L. Eugene Moyer officiated at services with burial in Schuylkill Memorial Park.
  Mr. Hummel, is the son of M and Mrs. Lawrence Hummel, former town residents.
