    Services for Lester L. Scheib, 75, of Spring Glen, who died Friday afternoon at his home, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday from Buffington Funeral Home, Valley View, with the Rev. Robert Stewart of Hegins officiating. Interment will be in Fountain Community Cemetery, Hegins area.
    Born in Lykens Township, June 3, 1909, he was a son of the late Francis and Salome Welker Scheib.
    Mr. Scheib was a retired farmer and miner. He was a member of Christ United Church of Christ, Hegins area.
    A son, Charles, died in 1964.
    Surviving are his wife, the former Margaret Troutman; a daughter, Betty Scheib, Schuylkill Haven; two sons, Robert Hegins area, and Donald, Spring Glen; two brothers, Carlos, Pillow and Nevin, Elizabethville area; a sister, Dorothy, wife of Raymond Brosious, Millersburg; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

    She was a former resident of Hickory Corners, Dalmatia RD; a former employee of Millersburg and Pillow Manufacturing Co; the widow of Charles Henry Keen; and a member of Zion Church of Stone Valley, Hickory Corners.
    Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Rosella Raker of Dalmatia RD, Mrs. Erma Bobb of Herndon and Mrs. Miana Straub of Lykens RD; two sons, Ellis of Dalmatia RD and Vernon of Halifax; a brother, Ellis Kemp of Red Lion; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
    Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in her church with the Rev. John Grill officiating. Burial will be in Stone Valley Cemetery, Hickory Corners.
    Friends may call at the church from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday.
    Foust Funeral Home, Trevorton, is in charge of arrangements.6
