    Mr. Ressler, a son of the late Samuel and Catherine Fetterolf Ressler, was born Feb. 19, 1896 at Dornsife RD.
    He was a member of Christ United Church of Christ, Leck Kill.
    Surviving are, his wife, the former Edna Mauser; four daughters: Orpha, wife of Melvin Knorr of Klingerstown, Cloma, wife of Alvin Duttry of Mechanicsburg, Geraldine, wife of Jack Wiest of Halifax.     Marlin E Koppenhaver, age 95, formerly of Sacramento, passed away Friday, March 15, 2019, at Green Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Pitman.
    He was born on April 22, 1923 in Berrysburg, a son of the late Jonathan and Vera Hornberger Koppenhaver.
    He attended Berrysburg schools up until the 10th grade.
    He served in the Army during World War II, attaining the rank of Tec 4, as an automobile mechanic and truck driver. As part of the European-African-Mid East Campaign, Marlin was on Omaha Beach at the battle of Normandy.
    After the war, Marlin returned home and was an auto mechanic for Klinger's Chevrolet, Sacramento until his retirement.
    He was a member of FandAM Valley Lodge #797, and served as Tyler for over 35 years, the Harrisburg Consistory, Tall Cedars of Lebanon, Millersburg Forrest, and a former member of the Pillow Fire Company for over 50 years.
    In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Alma W Straub Koppenhaver, who died in 1991.
    He is survived by a son, Richard E Koppenhaver, and grandchildren Rachel, April, and Simon Koppenhaver.
    Services will be held at Buffington-Reed Funeral Home on Saturday March 23, 2019 at 11 AM with Pastor Thomas Bruner of the St. John's Lutheran "Hill Church", Berrysburg officiating.
    Visitation will be held from 10 am to the time of service at the funeral home.
    Burial with military honors will be made in St. John's Cemetery, Berrysburg.

    Mrs. Florence L. Straub, 74, of 112 Vaux Ave., Tremont died Saturday afternoon in Community General Hospital, Reading where she had been admitted April 16th. She had been in ill health for the past month.
    Born in Pillow, she was a daughter of the late David and Louisa Daniels Klock. A resident of Tremont for the past 54 years, she was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Tremont.
    Surviving are her husband, Raymond A. Straub; six sons, Mark R. of Donaldson; Lawrence and Delbert of Lancaster, David of Houston, Texas; Lester of Springfield, Va; Dean, at home; two daughters, Helen, wife of Roy Klinger, Tremont; Esther, wife of Michael Culbert, Sewell, N.J; one brother Daniel Klock, Dornsife; 18 grandchiHren; five great-grandchildren.
    Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon from the W. E. Minng Funeral Home, Tremont with the Rev. Andrew J. Stauffer, her pastor, and the Rev. F. L. Hemmig, retired former pastor of St. John's Lutheran Church, officiating. Interment was in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Tremont.

    Miana is survived by her husband of 71 years, Charles Straub; two daughters, Drinda (Terry) Laudenslager of Lykens Twp, Diann (Gary) Paulachok of Cresco; son, Duane (Linda) Straub of Millersburg; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by brothers, Arthur, Vernon, and Ellis Keen, sister, Erma Bobb and Rose Raker.
    Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will take place in the Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery, Erdman. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Zion Klingers Lutheran Church.6

Larry was the son of the late Harry and Hilda Straub, and the brother of Miles, Arabel, Charlie, Harry Jr., Leo, Ronny, Delroy, Mary, and Glenn. Larry and Shirley built a home in Klingerstown, Schuylkill County, where he lived for the rest of his life. "Pap" was a lifelong coal miner, beginning to mine shortly after graduating high school. He retired in 2004 after over 40 years working underground. Along the way he built a home, raised three daughters, and loved five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. For decades he worked at the mine most Saturdays, yet still managed to join his sons-in-law, grandsons and granddaughters on hunting and fishing trips. For many years he could be found at his camp on the Susquehanna River or up in Potter County, enjoying a Yuengling and mowing grass. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Shirley (Hoffman) and daughters: Christine (Peg) married to Mike (Chap) Wiest, Sherry married to George Bayus, and Stacey married to John Wargins; also his grandchildren: Shanna (Wiest) married to Joe Terroso, Scott Wiest married to Jillian, Maddie Wargins, Ridge Wargins, and John Paul Wargins; and two great grandchildren Levi and Luke Terroso.
    Services will be held Saturday, July 13 at Salem Church of Rough and Ready 11 Church Road Klingerstown, PA. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am with a Memorial Service beginning at 11:00 am.4
