    DALMATIA -- Kermit I. Witmer, 87, of Route 225, Dalmatia, died Monday, June 21, 1999, at his home.
    He was born March 26, 1912, in Lower Mahanoy Township, Northumberland County, a son of the late Frank S. and Lydia (Bohner) Witmer. He was married to the former Martha Lenker, who died in November 1995.
    He was a farmer before retiring.
    Mr. Witmer was Protestant.
    Surviving are two sons, Howard A. of Pillow and Paul K. of RR Dalmatia; one daughter, Helen Shade of Gratz; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one brother, Landis of Berrysburg.
    Visitors may call from 7 to 9 p.m. . today at the James A. Reed Funeral Home. Market and Chestnut streets. Pillow. The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home by the Rev. Benjamin Brown.
    Burial will be in Stone Valley Cemetery, Hickory Corners.

    WAYNE H. WITMER
    Wayne H. Witmer, age 44 years, died at his home, Dalmatia R. D., on Saturday. He had been in ill health for some time.
    Mr. Witmer was a son of Franklin and Lydia (Bohner) Witmer, and was a native of Pillow. He was a member of the Stone Valley Reformed Church.
    Survivors are his mother, who resides at Pillow; his wife, Mrs. Katie Engle Witmer, and the following children: John H. Witmer, Mrs. Betty A. Silks, and Mrs. Elsie V. Peifer, all of Dalmatia; iMrs. Wilfred Deppen, of Astoria, Oregon; Brenda, Dolly, Vivian, 'and Kermit W. Witmer, all at home.
    Other survivors are a sister, Mrs. Gladys M. Crisswell, Philadelphia; three brothers Landis F. Witmer, of Elizabethville R. D., Lloyd J. Witmer, Dalmatia R. D.,
    and Kermit I. Witmer, of Hickory Corners; a step-sister, Mrs. Daisy Miller, of Wiconisco; and three step-brothers, Joseph Witmer, of Penbrook, and Clair and Paul, of Pillow.
    Funeral services were held in the Stone Valley Lutheran and Reformed Church, Hickory Corners, at 10:30 o'clock Wednesday morning. Rev. E. A. Dech, pastor of the Uniontown Reformed Charge officiated, and interment was made in the cemetery adjoining the church.
