    BERRYSBURG- Arthur A. Klinger, 80 of 124 North Main Street, died on Tuesday evening at the Holy Spirit Hospital, East Pennsboro Twp.
    He was born in Tremont on January 21, 1923, the son of the late Guerney A. and Gertrude (Troutman) Klinger.
    He was a retired electrical contractor and current minister of the Maranatha Chapel in Berrysburg. He had memberships with the Elizabethville American Legion "John Lloyd" Post #404; and Reliance Hose Co. #1, Elizabethville. He enjoyed HO model train collecting. He was a Major and pilot for the Air Force during World War II.
    He is survived by his wife, Violet M. (Klinger) Klinger, at home; son, Kenneth A. Klinger of Bullhead City, AZ; and brother, Ralph W. Klinger of Rutherford Heights, Harrisburg. He was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth and sister, Ruth Kuehn.
    Memorial services will be held at his church on Sunday, November 9th at 2:00 p.m.
    Burial will be private in the U.C.C. Reformed Cemetery, Berrysburg. There will be no viewing or visitation.
    In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Maranatha Chapel, Building Fund, Box 35, Berrysburg, PA 17005.

    Richard E. Klinger, 68, of Elizabethville, passed away Thursday at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center after a courageous fight with lung disease.
    Born in Elizabethville, June 19, 1946, he was a son of the late Earl and Mildred Burrell Klinger.
    He was the husband of Ruth Ann Pfeil Klinger, Elizabethville, for 39 years.
    Richard was a physical education teacher at Upper Dauphin Area School District for 35 years. During his teaching career, he was also employed as a head track coach, assistant football coach, wrestling coach and statistician for the boys' basketball team. He also coached football for the Williams Valley School District. He was dedicated to all of his students and the athletes he coached throughout his career.
    In his spare time, he was also employed at his family's business, Klinger Lumber Co. Upon his retirement, he worked at the lumber company full-time.
    Richard was a member of the Salem Lutheran Church and the Elizabethville Lions Club. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching Penn State, the Philadelphia Eagles and the New York Yankees.
    In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Adriane and her husband, Alek Peters; grandson, Kyan; brother, Robert Klinger and RICHARD E. KLINGER wife, Lorie Elizabethville; sister, Susan Komernicky and her husband, Larry, Glendale, Ariz; nieces, Morgan Klinger and Heather Komernicky; and nephew, Jared Komernicky.
    Rich will be remembered as a loving and devoted husband, caring brother, proud father and grandfather and a loyal friend. He will be sadly missed by all.
    There will be a viewing from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at Salem Lutheran Church, Elizabethville. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday with interment to follow at Maple Grove Cemetery Elizabethville. Donations can be made to American Lung Association, 3001 Gettysburg Road, Camp Hill, PA 17011.     Surviving are a daughter Jane Smith and her husband Tom of Camp Hill, a son Dennis and his wife Sue of Millersburg, grandchildren Brian Smith and his wife Michelle, Chet Smith and his wife Angie, David Myers and Mike Myers and his wife Becky; great grandchildren Bret, Derek, Jacob, Anna, Wyatt, Mason and Emily, three sisters Betty Snyder of Millersburg, Anna "Irene" Lang of FL, Ruth Schreffler of Lykens, a brother Lewis Ramberger of Halifax. She was preceded in death by siblings Harold, Ede, Guy, Forest, Willard, Ammon, Hilda and Al.
    There will be a viewing on Thursday, December 29 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hoover-Boyer Funeral Home in Millersburg. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, December 30 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor John Troutman officiating. Burial will follow at Salem Lutheran Cemetery in Killinger.
