    He was born on Saturday, September 11, 1954, in Pottsville, a son of M. Jean (Laudenslager) Fronk of Valley View and the late George W Fronk..
    He was a 1971 graduate of Tri-Valley High School and a 1975 graduate of Kutztown University.
    He taught sixth grade science and math at Upper Dauphin Area Middle School. He than became a pilot and taught flying lessons at Reading Airport. He than was employed as a pilot for USAir, Delta Airlines, and was a captain for Jet Blue, until becoming ill.
    Jim was and avid hunter and enjoyed fishing with his grandsons.
    He is survived by his wife Diane Fronk, to whom he was married for 15 years.
    Surviving in addition to his mother and wife are two sons, James and Joseph of Florida; a daughter, Samantha Knowles and her husband Ray of Florida; two grandsons, Andrew and Jack Knowles of Florida; a brother, John L. Fronk of Millersburg; three sisters, Ann L. Schiliro of Warrington, Janice M. Hodge of Camarillo, CA, and Jean M. Herb of Hegins.
    Memorial services will be held at St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, Valley View, on Saturday, June 18, 2011, at 2:00 p.m., with Rev. Philip Sabas, officiating.
    Burial was made in Woodlawn Memorial Park, Gotha, FL.
    Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, is in charge of local arrangements.

    Kathryn L. Chambers, 70, of Mechanicsburg, passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at her home. Born on June 8, 1952, in Lykens, PA, she was the daughter of the late James E. and Leonor (Laudenslager) Lebo. Kathryn was a graduate of Palmyra High School. She went on to attend Robert Morris University. Kathryn was a Retired Human Resources Manager, who worked in financial services. She was a member of Chestnut Grove United Methodist Church, Dillsburg. She was a former church choir member and a former Sunday school teacher at the church. Kathryn enjoyed going for walks and hiking. Kathryn is survived by her husband of 49 years, Samuel S. Chambers, Jr., of Mechanicsburg, a son, Samuel J. Chambers, of Boonsboro, MD, a sister, Linda Moffett, and her husband Ed, of New Cumberland, a brother, James Lebo and his wife Kate, of Oregon, and three grandchildren, Tyler "Ty", Mikayla "Kayla", and Matthew "Matt" Chambers, all of Summerville, SC. A celebration of Kathryn's life will be held at 11:30 A.M. on Friday, January 13, 2023, in Chestnut Grove United Methodist Church, 450 Chestnut Grove Rd., Dillsburg, PA, 17019, with Pastor Tim Klein officiating. A visitation with Kathryn's family will be held in the church on Friday from 10:30 A.M. until the time of the service. A reception will be held in the church immediately following the service. Interment was handled at the convenience of the family in Rolling Green Cemetery, Camp Hill. Myers-Baker Funeral & Cremation Services, Camp Hill, has been entrusted with funeral arrangements.
