    John H. Laudenslager; 84, of 1169 W, Main St., Valley View, 5 owner and operator of the International Harvester Truck garage, Valley View, for 60 years, died Saturday afternoon at Pottsville Hospital where he was admitted Dec. 23.
    Mr. Laudenslager was born Jan. 8, 1889 at Valley View, son of the late Charles and Catherine Romberger Laudenslager. He was a member of St. Andrew's United Methodist Church and the Men's Bible Class. He was the first honorary member of the Hegins-Valley View Rotary Club of which the was a member 32 years and treasurer 25 years.
    His wife, the former Mary Alice Schwalm, died seven years ago.
    Surviving are four daughters, Dora, wife of Robert Bair; Jean wife of George Fronk, both of Valley View; Marie, wife of Lewis Liebert; Leanore, wife of James Lebo, both of Palmyra; 13 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
    Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning in St, Andrew's United Methodist Church with his pastor, the. Rev. Leland Keemer officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining church cemetery. The , Robert Miller Funeral Home, Valley View, has charge.5

    She was a graduate of the former Hegins Township High School and the Reading School of Cosmetology.
    She was a self-employed beautician and also had worked at Tri-Valley High School.
    Jean was a member of St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, Valley View, where she was also a member of the Ladies Bible Class.
    Jean was an award-winning and celebrated cross-stitcher. Her greatest joy in life was her family and extended family.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, George W. Fronk, in 2010; son, James W. Fronk; three sisters, Leonore Lebo, Marie Liebert and Dora Bair; and a brother, Herman Laudenslager.
    Surviving are a son, John L. Fronk and his wife, Elizabeth, Millersburg; three daughters, Ann L. Schiliro and her husband, Peter, Valley View, Janice M. Hodge and her husband, Gary, Camarillo, Calif., and Jean M. Herb and her husband, Jack, Hegins; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; a daughter-in-law, Diane Fronk, Orlando, Fla; nieces and nephews.
    Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 21 at St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, Valley View, with the Rev. Duane Bardo officiating. Interment was in St. Andrew's Cemetery, Valley View. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 221, Valley View, PA 17983. Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, is in charge of arrangements.

    Born April 20, 1923, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary Schwalm Laudenslager. She was a retired tome economics school teacher, having taught in the Annville-Cleona, Lebanon and Tri-Valley school districts. She was a member of the Palmyra Garden Club, Hershey Area Chapter AARP and First United Methodist Church, Palmyra, where she was a former choir member.
    Surviving are daughters Kathryn, wife of Samuel Chambers Jr. of Mechanicsburg, and Linda, wife of Edward Moffett of New Cumberland; son James R., husband of Kate Lebo of Medford, Ore; sisters Dora Bair and Jean Fronk, both of Valley View; six grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by sister Marie Leibert.
    Her funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church in Palmyra, 520 E. Birch St., Palmyra, with a viewing at 9:30. Interment , will be in Gravel Hill Cemetery, North Londonderry Township.

    He was preceded in death by two brothers, Elmer and Wilbert Fronk, and two sisters, Annie and Jean Fronk.
    He is survived by his wife of 71 years, M. Jean Fronk; two sons, John Fronk of Millersburg and James Fronk of Orlando, Fla; three daughters, Ann Schiliro of Warrington, Janice Hodge of Camarillo, Calif., and Jean Herb of Hegins; eleven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
    Services were held Feb. 11 at St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, Valley View.
