    Luke H. Schade, age 72, of Harrisburg, passed away Friday, March 30, 2012 at ManorCare of Camp Hill. Born February 25, 1940 in Fearnot, PA, he was a son of the late Harry and Sadie (Schwalm) Schade.
    Luke was retired from the United Parcel Service and was a member of the Teamsters Local 776. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting and taking trips to his hunting cabin and loved spending time with his family and friends.
    Surviving are his daughters, Deborah J. Stine and husband Jeff of Martinsburg, WV and Cathy S. King and husband Butch of Etters; his sons, James A. Schade and wife Robin of Mechanicsburg and David L. Schade and wife Jen of New Cumberland; his grandchildren, Matthew Stine, Michael King and wife Ronni, Zachary and Nicholas Schade, and Dustin and Alicia Beck; as well as his great-grandchildren, Dylan King and Draven Beck. Luke was preceded in death by his four siblings: Warren, Leroy, Betty, and Mae.
    Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, April 2 at Malpezzi Funeral Home, Mechanicsburg. There will be a visitation from 1:00 to 2:00 PM Monday at the funeral home.

    Born on October 11, 1948, in Valley View, he was a son of the late Leon L. and Phyllis R. (Weaver) Schwalm. Stephen enjoyed tending to his flowers in his garden, watching old Western movies, and listening to music. He was a big fan of the Eagles and Phillies. He loved to bake and cook, especially for when his family was together.
    Stephen is survived by his son, Michael A. Schwalm; daughter, Martha A. Lukens; grandchildren, Selena, Candace, Joni (Kaspar), and Stephanie (Justin); great grandchildren, Chad, Pheobe, and Liliana; brother, Robert Schwalm (Vickie), and sister, Elizabeth Wilson (Ted); several brothers- and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by son, Chad R. Schwalm; daughter, Roseanna Marie Schwalm, and brother, Bradley Schwalm.
    A viewing will be held on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, from 5-7 pm and Thursday, January 27, 2022, from 10-11 am at Jesse H. Geigle Funeral Home, 2100 Linglestown Road, Harrisburg. The Funeral Service will be at 11 am, following the viewing on Thursday. Officiating will be Pastor Mike Knapp. The burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
