  • Last Edited: 26 Oct 2007
  • Charles Wiest was born in 1873.
  • He was the son of Edward Troutman Wiest.
  • Some sources list Charles as a son of Edward T. and Edith (Musser) Wiest, but that is questionable. According to the 1900 Census, Edith was the mother of three children, Elizabeth, Stella, and Edward. Similarly, the 1910 Census list's Edith, who was then 49 years old, as the mother of 3 children, all of who were then living. The 1910 Census, however, indicates that Edith was Edward T. Wiest's second wife, suggesting that Charles was born to Edward T. Wiest's first wife.2,3
