    Julie A. Kahler, 47, of Middletown entered into eternal rest on Sunday, March 17, 2019 at York Memorial Hospital, York. She was born September 28, 1971 in Norwich, CT and was the loving daughter of Randy G. and Judy C. "Cookie" (Visloskie) Schaffner. Julie was a 1989 graduate of Line Mountain High School in Herndon, PA. Julie was a devoted daughter, wife and mother and her greatest joy was taking care of her family. There will forever be a void in the hearts of her loved ones. She enjoyed many things such as gardening, decorating her house for Christmas, traveling, and watching Penn State and Middletown Blue Raider sports. Her greatest joy was cheering on her daughter as her biggest fan in softball, soccer, and volleyball. In addition to her parents, Julie is survived by her devoted husband of 22 years, Chris Kahler; her loving daughter, Chloe Kahler of Middletown; brother, Michael Schaffner (Alexis); paternal grandmother, Esther (Bellis) Schaffner; uncles, Steve Schaffner (Robin), Keith Schaffner (Kathy), Kim Schaffner; aunt, Barbara Buchanan (James); nieces and nephews, Gavin, Evan and Evelyn Schaffner and Sarah and Justin Lesher; in-laws, Paul and June Kahler; brothers-in-law, Michael Kahler (Rhoda), Timothy Kahler; sister-in-law, Angela Lesher (Jeremy). A tribute to Julie's life will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at 3:00 PM at Matinchek Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. 260 E. Main St. Middletown, PA with the Rev. Britt Strohecker officiating. There will be a time of visitation from 1:00 PM until the time of service on Saturday.     ELIZABETHVILLE- Loretta "Jean" Schaffner, age 91, Mifflin Twp, passed away June 27, 2019, at the Sunbury Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born May 4, 1928 in Trevorton, daughter of the late Charles and Helen (Boyer) Rothermel. She was a member of Peace UCC, Berrysburg. She was a retired nursing assistant and had worked for the former Manor @ Susquehanna Village. She also had worked in the past for the former Muskin Shoe Co and Dornsife Hotel. She was a member of the American Legion and Moose in Millersburg. She enjoyed solitaire, bingo and gardening. She is survived by daughter, Judy L .( Ronald Sr.) Schultz; Brothers, Wayne (Karen) "Butch" Rothermel, Lamar (Evelyn) Rothermel, Kenneth (Millie) Rothermel, and Daniel "Nick" (Nancy) Rothermel; Sisters, Fern (Lester) Donmoyer and Mildred Fulkroad; Step-son, James (Karen) Snyder; Grandchildren, Ronald Schultz Jr., Amanda (Ike) Daniels, and Christina Campbell; Step-Grandchildren, Katie (Adrian) Bordner, Kennedy and Dakota Snyder; Great Grandchildren, Tasha (Lucas), Taylor, Bethany, Aubrey, Cameron, Ikey and Shelby; 2 Step-Great Grandchildren, Nathaniel and Griffin; 2 Great Great Grandchildren, Vera and Vivienne. She was also preceded in death by a companion, William S.
